Operation

  1. Switch on the unit by pressing the ON/OFF button.
  2. Wait until “0.0” is shown on the display before placing the item to be weighed on the plate.
  3. Press the UNITS button to change the display unit between: g – gram
    • Oz – ounce
    • Ct – carat
    • Gn – grain
  4. Press the LIGHT button to switch the back illuminator on and off.

Tare weight

  1. Switch on the unit by pressing the ON/OFF button.
  2. Wait until “0.0” is shown on the display before placing the item or container onto the weighing plate.
  3. Press the TARE button so the display shows “0.0” again.
  4. Now the item can be placed & weighed.

Count

  1. Switch on the unit by pressing the ON/OFF button and wait until “0.0” is shown.
  2. Choose a sample quantity of 25, 50, 75, or 100 and place them onto the scale plate.
  3. Press and hold the PCS button for 2 seconds and the sample quantity will be displayed.
  4. Press the UNITS button until the correct quantity is displayed and press the PCS button to confirm.
  5. Sample weight can now be removed and ready for weight counting.
  6. Weight and count can be displayed by pressing the UNIT and PCS buttons respectively.

Calibration

It is advised to perform calibration on a regular basis to ensure tolerance is at the minimum. 

To perform calibration, please follow the below steps carefully.

  1. Reset the unit by pressing the ON/OFF button and wait until “0.0” is shown.
  2. Press and hold the UNITS button for 3 seconds until “CAL” is displayed.
  3. Press the UNITS button again until “300” is displayed.
  4. Place a weight of 300g on the scale until “PASS” is displayed.
  5. Remove the weight and restart the scale, now the scale is calibrated and ready for use.
