BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Before using the kettle for the first time, remove all the packing material.
2. Clean the Kettle by filling with clean water and boiling

Instructions For Use

1. Unwind the cord under the power base unit to a suitable length from the electric power supply point.
2. Place the Kettle on a stable, plane and heat resistant surface away from hot objects, naked flames.
3. Push the projected part on the lid, to open the hinged lid.
4. Fill the Kettle with water.
5. Push the projected part on the lid and press the lid to close.
6. Fill any amount of water between minimum and maximum levels marked on the level gauge.
7. Boil only as much water as you need, to save electricity.
8. Place the kettle securely on the power base unit and plug in the power plug into a grounded power supply socket (230 Volts, 50 Hz).
9. Make sure the lid is closed before the kettle is switched on.
10. To switch the kettle "ON" press "ON" mark on the switch, when the kettle is "ON" the "ON"/"OFF" indicator glows.
11. The kettle will switch "OFF" automatically, when the water attains boiling point.
12. The Boiling process can be interrupted / stopped by Switching "OFF". For Switching "OFF" the kettle, press the "OFF" mark on the switch
13. Switch "OFF" the power supply and lift the kettle from the power base unit to pour out hot water.

BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filing with cold water. Press ON/OFF switch to commence heating
