Starting from the foot of the bed, place the heating element ﬂat on your mattress (see ﬁgure).
First, connect the control to the heating element by inserting the plug-in coupling.
Then plug the mains plug into the socket.
Then ﬁt your sheet over it as usual so that the heating element is between the mattress and the sheet.

Switching on

Slide the ON/OFF control on the side of the control 1 to the ON ( I ) position to switch on the device.
When switched on, the display illuminates and at ﬁrst displays all the segments for approx. 2 seconds. After that, the display shows the following basic settings:
Temperature setting for body area: 0
Temperature setting for foot area: 0
Automatic switch-off time: 1 h (= 1 hour)
