INSTALLATION AND OPERATION GUIDE

Selecting the Location

• Place the Unit in an Upright Position.
• The location of the operation should be an enclosed area.
• The location should allow constant air circulation.
• The location should have power outlet at about 6 meters of the device as that is the length of the cord.
• Keep the Dehumidifier away from any moisture-laden air in the working area.

Power cord Installation 
Connect the plug of the connector of the power to the power outlet of the appliance.

Drain Hose Installation

1. Attach the hose inlet to the drain outlet located on the graph appliance.

2. Allow the hose to be set off to a drain or a sink or even to a container that can collect the discharged water.

   

OPERATION

Plugged in - Shutdown Mode

When plugged in, the display will communicate to the user thatthe machine is in Shutdown mode and ready to be powered on.

Dashboard

Dashboard while in Humidistat Mode 
When the machine is dehumidifying the unit will display:

• Temperature and RH/GPP
• Set humidity value (Optionally set GPP)
• Display: Dehumidifying
• GPP = Grains per pound (gr/lb)

Standby Mode

In Standby Mode, the display will also show Temperature/RH/GPP/Set humidity value.

Navigation

• Press the [] key to advance to the next screen .
• Press the [] key to scroll through available values .

Purging

• Press the [] button to purge the machine.
• The display will communicate to the user that the machine is purging.
• The last line of the control panel display "DRAINING". This will momentarily replace float switch until the machine has finished purging. Work cycle lasting 14 seconds. While in Humidistat Mode, When the water level reaches, the unit will drain automatically.
• The last line of the control panel display "DRAINING".

Defrosting

The display will communicate to the user that the machine is defrosting on the last line of the dashboard. This will momentarily replace grain depression until the machine has finished defrosting.

Compressor protection state

The display will communicate to the user that the machine is Waiting for compressor to run on the last line of the dashboard.

Continuous dehumidifying Mode

• The default mode is continuous dehumidifying Mode "On".
• Press the Set button to toggle the continuous dehumidifying Mode On/Off.
• If the continuous mode "off", the humidistat mode is automatically turned on, and then the humidistat set point is entered for operation.
• The display will communicate to the user that the machine is continuously dehumidifying on the last line of the dashboard.
• The set value shows "CO".

Humidity control mode 
Users can choose between two modes for controlling humidity.

• Relative humidity=%RH.
• GPP = Grains per pound (gr/lb).

Humidistat Set Point

1. Press the Set button to adjust the set point RH% in 5% increments ranging from 25% RH to 80% RH and then loop back to 25% RH. Press the Next button to confirm selection and advance to the next screen.
2. Press the Set button to adjust the set point (gr/lb) in 2(gr/lb) increments ranging from 20(gr/lb) to 200(gr/lb) and then loop back to 20(gr/lb) . Please select a humidity setting point for adjustment.

Diagnostic Codes

If the machine has an error and needs service, the on board control system will display a diagnostic code. 
If E1, E4, HI or LO is displayed on the vehicle control screen, please refer to the following:

• E1: Humidity Sensor or Communication Error Solution: Check to ensure that the sensor wire is connected at both ends, if no issues are visible, the sensor may be faulty.
• E4: Problem with Pump 
  Solution: Verify that the pump is properly installed and functioning. If so, unplug the unit for two minutes, then restart.
• LO: Room Temperature is below 33.8℉
  Solution: Increase the room temperature so it is within operation range (above 33.8℉). If error is still displayed, check the sensor.
• HI: Room Temperature is above 104℉
  Solution: Decrease the room temperature so it is within operating range (below 104℉). If error is still displayed, check the sensor.
• E5: Refrigerant Leak

• To automatically activate or deactivate the dehumidifier when the air conditioner runs.
