ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

It is important that you read and carefully follow all assembly instructions. Do not plug the power cord into an electrical outlet until all assembly has been properly completed. TWO PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED TO SET UP THE ADJUSTABLE BASE.

Carefully take out the base and open it as shown. 

Remove all ties by hand and remove all parts from the box. 

NOTE: Before discarding any packing materials, check the carton and verify all items in the parts list are included.

• Thread the bolt of the leg into the frame and turn it by hand until tight.

  

• During assembly, decide on the desired height for the bed frame. Originally legs are 12 inches tall. These may be split into two shorter leg options; a 6 inch and a 6 inch height option.

  

• Extend the cable line (labeled "b") and plug it into the power adapter (label "c"). Connect the power adapter to the control box. The control box is the black box attached to the bottom of the base (circled "d").

TWO PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED TO SET UP THE ADJUSTABLE BASE

WARNING: It is important that you read and carefully follow all base assembly instructions. Do not plug the power cord into an electrical outlet until all assembly has been properly completed. • The metal frame should be used while flipping over the base, do not use the foam edge to flip the base. Then insert the mattress retaining bar into the grommets as shown.

  

• Place mattress on top of base, make sure the edge of mattress makes contact with retaining bar to ensure no slipping.Enjoy your bed.

  

EMERGENCY BATTERY BACKUP: This adjustable base is equipped with a battery backup that will assist in returning the base to a flat position during a power outage. To use this feature, simply install two 9V batteries into the battery compartment of the transformer. Use the reset button on the control box (black box attached to the bottom of the base) to return the base to a flat position. Please do not use batteries for normal operation of the base.

NOTE: 9V batteries are not included.

REMOTE CONTROL INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Clear area below the bed before lowering to reduce the risk of injury or death.

SETTING PROGRAMMABLE POSITIONS AND PAIRING REMOTE

The original remote that comes in the box is already paired to the base. No further action is required. In the event when the remote is not paired with the base, follow the instructions.

HINT: To pair, hold the pair buttons mounted under the bed for 3 seconds then press the "head up" and "foot up" buttons simultaneously.

1. Make sure the batteries are in the remote control. Next, find the black box mounted under the base. Find the button on the control box which is circled in the image above. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds after plugging in the adjustable base. Once the light flashes quickly, press and hold the "head up" and "foot up" buttons for 3 seconds simultaneously on the remote control. Once you hear a beep, that will indicate that the remote is paired.
2. Unplug then plug in the adjustable base again. Once the light flashes quickly, press the "head up" and "foot up" buttons of the remote control simultaneously. Within 15 seconds the light will stop flashing and you will hear a long beep indicating pairing is successful.

SYNCHRONIZING TWO FOUNDATIONS

SYNC TWO TXL BASES WITH ONE REMOTE

Each base comes paired with its own remote. You can use only one remote and put the 2nd remote away for safekeeping. Bed "A" is already synced.

1. Plug base A and base B (both bases) to the power source. If remote A didn't pair successfully with base A please refer to page 14(15) to pair it first. If remote A has been paired with base A please ignore this step and refer to Step 2.
2. Then follow the same steps to pair remote A to base B.
3. Now you can use remote A to operate both bases simultaneously.

Setup Guide

Setting up the Classic-Brand Upholstered Adjustable Bed J15210-0406 is easy and straightforward.

• After power foundation assembly is completed, operate the remote control to ensure proper functions before occupying the bed.

ADJUSTABLE BED BASE 3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

LIMITED WARRANTIES: The following limited warranties apply to new Classic Brands Adjustable Comfort Adjustable Base and are extended only to the original retail purchaser of the Classic Brands Adjustable Comfort Adjustable Base Product. These limited warranties are non-transferable. The "adjustable base" does not include the mattress.

"Commencement Date" means the date you purchased a new and unused Classic Brands Adjustable Comfort adjustable base. Classic Brands warrants this adjustable base to you on the terms and over the reducing periods of time set out below. All warranty claims require notice from You to be given to Classic Brands in the manner set out below, and to be received by Classic Brands inside the applicable warranty time period.

FULL COVERAGE OF PARTS: Your Classic Brands Adjustable Comfort Adjustable Base is warranted against defects in the workmanship or materials for a period of three (3) years from the Warranty Commencement Date. Electronics, electrical components, drive motors, and massage motors are included. Upon notice during the first year from the warranty commencement date, Classic Brands will send replacement parts (at no cost to the purchaser) for any defective part to the purchaser. This three (3) year warranty shall not apply if the purchaser does not return any and all defective parts to Classic Brands within 15 days of the purchaser's receipt of the replacement part. The purchaser shall bear all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs related to the delivery and/or replacement of the defective part.
