I can’t get my Bluetooth connected

Earto iPad Keyboard Case First-time pairing

• Step 1: Move ON/OFF switch to ON(The indicator lights will light up about 2 seconds then off)

• Step 2: Press the
  ( Note: Bluetooth Indicator Light will begin blinking)

  

• Toggle Bluetooth On in the Settings app on your iPad.

  

• Tap “Bluetooth Keyboard” under “MY DEVICES” in the Bluetooth section of the Settings app.

  

For future pairings, please repeat steps 1-3 (if necessary).  Bluetooth Keyboard  will appear under MY DEVICES. Tap it to connect.

Can pair before but failed to pair this time:

Please check your iPad settings first, as shown on the right.

NOTE: If this function is not turned on, your iPad  will not be reconnected with the keyboard after the iPad goes to sleep. 

• Go to your iPad Setting - Display Brightness

• Toggle on the Lock/Unlock

  

Next Steps

• Delete all the Bluetooth devices on the iPad (include our keyboard)
• Switch off the Bluetooth function on the iPad
• Reboot the iPad
• Switch on Bluetooth on the iPad
• Switch the keyboard off and on
• reconnect the keyboard

Note: Bluetooth will automatically disconnect after 10 minutes of inactivity. Press any button and the keyboard will reconnect immediately.

My keyboard can't hold the charge

• Battery indicator does not light red  after connecting the charging cable. Replace the charging cable and replace the USB power adapter
• After connecting the charging cable, the battery indicator light is always red, and the power is not responding. USB power adapter Charge the keyboard for at least 60 minutes, then reboot
• The red LED of the battery indicator is always on, it can be used normally when the charging cable is connected. Cannot be used after unplugging. Charge the keyboard for at least 60 minutes, then reboot

What do the indicators mean?

• Blue LED Blinking: Pairing
• Red LED On: Charging
• Green LED Blinking: Low in Battery
• Green LED On: Battery is full charged

My keyboard is too sensitive and always mistype

• In your iPad, there is some smart setting and it impacts to the typing experience and sensitivity of the typing. It sometimes cause the connected Bluetooth  keyboard too sensitive and easily to mistype, you could toggle off the settings in Keyboard(Auto-Correction, Enable Caps Lock, Shortcuts, Smart Punctuation, Split 
• Keyboard, Enable Key Flicks, “.” Shortcut).  

• You can also keep them on if you really need the function.

  

Extra spaces, punctuation or uppercase letters

Keyboard continuously have the period when press the space key, and capitalization of initial letters in words  occur spontaneously (step 1-3) .

1. Go to your iPad setting – General– Keyboard

   

2. Choose Hardware keyboard

   

3. Toggle off “.” shortcut (very important)

   

Keys types lagging of Earto iPad Keyboard Case

Need press hard to have the letters, sometimes get double  letters and double spaces.

1. Make sure your iPad is fully charged  (suggest to update iPad system to latest version)
   • Blue LED blinking: Pairing; 
   • Red LED on: charging; 
   • Green LED Blinking: Low in Battery

   • Green LED on: Battery is full charged

     

2. Delete the keyboard connection on iPad

   

3. Reboot your iPad and keyboard.

   

4. Reconnect it again.

   

If still not working, try delecting the other Bluetooth devices from it and give the keyboard one more restart (power on/power off).

Auto capitalization doesn't work

When shut down and restart the keyboard case, the Auto Capitalization is off again (step 1-3) .

• Go to your iPad setting – General –Keyboard

  

• Choose Hardware keyboard

  

• Toggle on the Auto-capitalization

  

How to change the brightness and the backlit color?

• Turn on/off or adjust the backlit. Operating Method: Press once to turn on the backlit. Press again will increase the brightness. The third time will maximize the brightness. And the forth 􀀁me will turn off the backlit
• To alternate the 7 backlit color(red, yellow ,blue ,green, cyan ,pruple ,white)

Can the keyboard be flipped all the way to the back?

1. No, it can't be flipped all the way to the back. 

2. The keyboard case can only be folded to 180 degrees. If you don't need to use the keyboard, you can first rotate 360 degrees, then fold it to use only the iPad.

   

NOTE: The angle of use should be within 135 degrees, if it exceeds 135 degrees, the iPad may fall down, because the iPad also has a certain weight. 

My iPad cannot enter sleep mode when using the keyboard

• Go to your iPad Settng - Display Brightness

• Toggle on the Lock/Unlock

  

• Choose Auto-Lock and select a tablet sleep  time (like the following picture)

  

The ‘7 8 9 u i o j k l m’ keys doesn't work

If your tablet system version is newer than 13.1, just follow the steps

How can I take the iPad out of the case?

1. Removing back protective piece: hold iPad on both sides and use thumbs to gently push off the back cover (see photos.) Cover is held in place by two tabs.
2. Proceed to “peel” cover away from iPad.
3. Take iPad out.
