INSTALLATION GUIDE
- This machine needs a ne adjustment according to the condition of bank notes before the first use. Please refer to “how to adjust the feeding hopper gap” later in this manual to ensure smooth feeding of banknotes.
- The machine should be placed on an appropriate workspace. You can place it on a flat and level table away from direct sunlight.
- A dust- and smoke free environment increases the life time of the machine significantly.
- Make sure the power source correspondents with the voltage as mentioned on the power outlet.
- When the machine gets switched on, the motor runs for a short time. This is normal and serves the purpose of disposing off anything that might have got into the paper path.
- Always prepare the money before counting. Make sure stickers, coins, paper clips, staples etc. are removed before counting.
- Arrange the banknotes to a narrow bundle before placing them on the hopper.
- The machine has a warming up period of about 30 seconds after being switched on.
- Failure to adjusting the machine correctly can result in malfunction and damage to the machine or your bank notes.

CORRECT FEEDING OF BANKNOTES
Once the bills are correctly placed in the hopper, the machine will start counting automatically. Bills should be correctly placed as indicating the following steps; Place the bills between the counting guides as shown in the gure1 and figure2. Swiftly push the bills with a figure see figure3 to make them rest on the top of the hopper plate, in the correct counting position.
HOW TO ADJUST THE FEEDING HOPPER GAP
When banknote feed is unsmooth, or banknote counting is inaccurate, it can be solved through adjusting the vertical adjusting screw as well as the gap between the resistance slice and the banknote twiddling gear (left wise for tightening and
right wise for loosening).
MAIN FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS GUIDE
Self Checking
After starting machine will go on system self-check automatically if it display the following error message, please clear dust on surface of sensor with brush, then start machine again. If the error signal is still occuring, it must be repaired correlative circuit and sensor.
Fake Note Detection Warning
On fake note detection, the currency counter’s blue LCD turns red.
Description Of Function Key On Control Panel
After self testing, currency counter can start working by user operation, please refer following instruction for detail (both LCD & LED same operation):
- UV/MG/IR Key: Press this key, the machine will stop in case a counterfeit note is detected.
- ADD Key: Number of notes in a bundle successively set in by this key, the machine is set so that each counted hopper can be added up.
- AUTO Key: Currency will start counting automatically once fed in the hopper.
- Size Key: It sort out the different width banknotes; display show SIZE & 2D.
- BATCH Key: For selecting the batch. Every time this key is pressed, one of the preset batch amounts 10,20,50,100 and infinity will be displayed and selected by rotation on the display.
- SET Key: For setting each sensor rate. Adjustment can be done by pressing “+” or “-” button. After setting, press “RESTART” button for saving the setting.
- “+” Key: Batch or Add number can be set by pressing this key.
- “-” Key: Batch or Add number can be set by pressing this key.
- “Intel-MT” Key: Optional function for higher counterfeit detection of Rs 100/500/1000 etc.
SETUP DETECTION SENSITIVITY AND ERROR MESSAGES
Press “SET” for setting each sensor rate, and adjust by “+” or “-” button. After setting,press “RESTART” button for saving the setting.
For the sensor detail refer following:
- Normally set the rate at 3 or 4 in the middle.
- Count made 0, the alarmed notes not included in total counted pcs. Count mode 1, the alarmed notes included in the total pcs.
- Choose “F”, press “+”, the rate shine for “1" or Y back to factory setting.
Error Messages and Solutions
If false detection occurs frequently (regards real banknotes as counterfeit ones), you can adjust the sensitivity to a lower level. If Chain/Double is often happening, You should tighten the “thickness adjust screw”the banknotes should be re-counted if one of the above errors has occurred.
Setup Guide

- Unbox the machine and ensure all components are included (main unit, power cord, user manual, etc.).

- Dusts on ultraviolet LED, IR sensors, and magnetic head shall be thoroughly cleaned at least once in a week.
- Clean the machine daily to prevent from accumulation of dirt, since this may cause too many banknotes to be rejected.
- Use an air brush to blow away dirt from the sensors.
- Only use cleaning materials and tools which do not scratch.
- Use a soft cotton towel to clean the outside of the machine.
- Open up the bill path with a rm drag with one hand.
- Clean the bill path with a brush or a soft cotton towel.
- Always keep the machine away from excessive heat, cold or humidity.
- Do not operate the machine with a damaged power cord and observe electrical safety and your local regulations at all time.
CAUTIONS
- Avoid counting wet, dirty or spoiled banknotes.
- Don't insert the folded notes. Straighten the corners of the banknotes before insertion.
- Put the banknotes on the hopper correctly.
- Adjust the note guides according to the longest banknote in the stack.
- Do not place it on delicate surfaces as the rubber from the anti-slipping and anti vibration feet might have adverse effects.
- Do not feed heavily damaged or wet notes into the Bank Note Counter.
- Avoid wearing loose clothes or jewellery or anything else that hangs over the machine or touches the hopper as they might be caught in the machine.
- Always keep liquids, food and any other loose objects away from the currency counter.
- Do not operate the machine when it is wet or with wet hands.
IMPORTANT NOTE
If odd sized banknote/document detected. Check and remove it. If a currency is jammed inside the machine, open up and clear the jammed portion. If unknown document detected in the stacker. Remove the document instantly. If the problem re occurs - check thickness, adjustment and/or check for dirt in the machine.
