Description

The Hamilton Beach Popcorn Popper Machine 73302 is designed with convenience in mind. Its sleek and compact design allows it to fit seamlessly into any kitchen decor. The machine features a transparent lid that allows you to see the popping process, adding an element of fun and anticipation. The stirring arm is designed to move the kernels around the popping chamber, ensuring that every kernel is popped to perfection. This results in minimal waste and a delicious batch of popcorn every time.

How to Make Popcorn

  1. Place the recommended amount of oil (canola or peanut oil is best) and popcorn kernels on a nonstick popping plate. See the Servings Chart on page 6 for ingredients and amounts to pop.
  2. Place lid on popper without lid cover to allow steam to escape. Plug the unit into the outlet. DO NOT OPERATE WITH LID COVER ON LID.
  3. If desired, place thin pats of butter in the butter well, allowing the butter to melt into the popcorn as the unit heats. For best results, place no more than approximately
4 thin pats of butter in the butter well. Softened butter will yield the best results.
  4. The stirring arm begins to rotate and the unit heats the kernels and oil. The heated kernels will begin to pop.
NOTE: The stirring arm will occasionally reverse directions during use. Every so often, kernels will become trapped under the stirring arm and can result in a scraping or squeaking sound. This does not indicate a problem with the popper.
  5. When popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops, unplug the unit so the popcorn does not burn.
NOTE: Popcorn kernels may continue to pop after the unit is turned off. Make sure the popping has stopped before flipping and removing the lid.
  6. Push the lid cover firmly onto the lid.

  7. CAUTION Burn Hazard. Holding the popper using oven mitts, turn the unit over, flipping it away from your body to prevent burns from steam.
  8. The unit will now rest on the lid cover.
CAUTION Burn Hazard. The popcorn popper will be VERY HOT.
  9. Remove the popper base, turn it back to an upright position, and set it aside.
  10. Popcorn may be eaten directly from the lid/serving bowl or dispensed into smaller serving bowls. See page 6 for Topping Ideas.
  11. CAUTION Burn Hazard: Allow to cool. Then wipe the nonstick pop-ping plate with a damp cloth to prepare for the next popping cycle.

WARNING Shock Hazard. Do not immerse the base, or cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
NOTE: Due to the heat created during use, a second popping cycle may yield slightly less popcorn than the first cycle. Waiting 3 - 5 minutes between popping cycles will yield the best results.
