Installation Guides
Battery installation
- Remote battery installation: When the remote control range becomes shorter or the LED light becomes faded, please replace the battery. Use minus (-) type of screwdriver to open the external cover, and replace 1 new 12V/27A battery.
- Caution: Ensure correct battery (+ and (-) orientation.
- Host battery installation: Slide on the battery cover and install 2 AAA-size batteries. The host produces a short “BI” sound after the batteries are fully installed and also indicates the installation is successful.
- Using alkaline batteries has a better performance compared to other types of batteries. Using other types of battery may cause shorter battery lifespan or lower alarm sound levels.
Host Installation
- Select the door/window installation location and clean up the installation surface with a clean wiper. Remove the double-sided tape liner at the host and adhere the host to the clean surface of the door/window.
- After installing the host, locate the magnet nearby the host by aligning arrow-to-arrow marking at the same level position.
Cautions
- The host is applicable for indoor use only, do not install that exposure to sunlight, rain, high pollution, and high humidity area.
- The host magnetic sensor is on the right side, assemble the magnet at the right side of the host and align the arrow-to-arrow position.
- If the host is installed at the door side, install the magnet at the door frame side and vice versa to ensure the magnet is away from the host when the door opens to function properly.
Ensure the distance between the host and magnet is not more than 10mm when the door is fully closed.
Setup Guide
- To operate, assemble, configure, and pair the Hendun Window Security Alarm KS-SF03R, follow these steps:
- Insert the batteries in the alarm.
- Test the alarm by opening and closing the window.
- Adjust the sensitivity of the sensor as needed.
- Place the alarm in a discreet location near the window.
- Arm the alarm when leaving the house.

Arm and Disarm
- Press the remote control key in silent mode, The main device produces 3 times “Bi Bi Bi” sound and enters into the Arm mode and the LED flashes at once every 3 seconds.
- Press the remote control key to the Disarm at the Arm mode, the host will produce a long ” Bi. * sound and exit the Arm mode. The host will be in an idle condition except for the low-power indication function.
Alarm Triggering
- The host at the Arm mode will be triggered for 30 seconds simultaneously if the door opens. The host stops after 30 seconds and triggers again after another 15 seconds for 30 seconds and it continues in the periodic mode until either the door is properly closed or disarm the host using a remote control.
- Direct press the Disarm key at the remote control to stop the host from alarming and exit the Arm mode simultaneously
Panic Function
- When a robbery was entered into the house or other emergency situation, press the panic key at the remote control to trigger the host for 30 seconds. The key can be used in any setting mode.
Doorbell Function
- When the host is not in the Arm mode, press the key at the remote control, and the host will produce a “DingDong ” sound and enters the doorbell function. Under this function, the host is triggered at a doorbell mode sound to pre-alert that the door/window is open.
- Press Disarm key or Arm mode key once time, and the host exits the doorbell mode automatically.
Remote Controls Add-on Guides
When requires more remote controls to the add-on, register the new remote controls into the host and the steps are as follows:
- Register the first remote control:
First, remove the host batteries and install them back after 2 minutes; After listened once “Bi” sound, press the coding key for around 10 seconds continuously, and the host produces a “Bi…” sound. This indicates the host has entered into the coding learning mode already. At the same time, release the coding key at the remote control and press again at Arm or Disarm key once time, the host produces a 2 “Bi. BI. ” sound and indicates the coding is successful. - Register the second remote control or more:
First. confirm the host is not in Arm mode (no requirement to remove the host battery, then press at registered remote control’s coding key continuously for around 10 seconds ignoring the doorbell sound in between) until the host produces one ” Bi… sound. This indicates the host was entered into coding leaming mode. At the same time, release the coding key and press the Arm or Disarm key once at the remote control, the host produces twice the “Bi…Bi.. …” sound. This indicates the coding learning is successful and ready to add another new remote control. - Decoding method:
Be cautious to use this function! The decoding is mainly for the lost remote control to be removed from the host. If there is no backup remote control, require to purchase a new remote control for the lost remote control decoding. After entering into the code learning mode, the same as the step method, press a key at the remote control, and the host produces one “Bi” sound to decode/remove the remote control-host pairing. No require power reset of the host and press the remote control key again to encode it inside the host. - Please follow the remote control add-on guides above for further details if want to add more remote controls.
- Be cautious of the host can cater to up to 8 remote control coding only, the first registered remote control coding will be removed if exceeds 8 remote controls registration.
Battery low power indication
- When the host’s LED flashes once/in a second, it indicates battery power is low and replaces with new batteries accordingly.
- When the remote control’s flashlight becomes dark/faded or the remote control range becomes shorter, it indicates the battery power is low and replaced with a new battery accordingly.
