3. Use the original accessories
   Please use the original accessories provided in the package from the KQQ store, just in case of compatibility issues after using others', especially using 2 or 3 in 1 cigar sockets of others, can lead to an insufficient current supply.
4. Check the functionality first. Check the functionality of the dash cam with all its accessories before installation. If you want to find a professional for installation, please check the function first, to prevent the inconvenience and installation cost loss caused by the machine problem after the installation.
5. TF memory card installation
   Please insert the external TF card from the KQQ store before using it. The TF memory card is used to store the image or video files of the driving recorder.
   Important:
   • Please use a high-speed TF memory card (above Class 10) with a capacity of not less than 8GB (supports max to 128GB). When the card is full, the machine will automatically overwrite the earlier files. It is recommended to format or replace the TF memory card regularly every month to ensure that the machine works normally.
   • Please don't splice he rear camera wire for extension from another store, the monitor may lose the rear image. The length of the original cable for the rear camera is 23 feet (7m), suitable for most types of cars. We also have 33 feet(10m) rear camera extension cables ( ASIN : B0B3DNT2MX) sold separately.

For Maintenance

1. Do not leave the camera in the direct sunlight for a long period of time or where the temperature could go above 158°F (70°C).
2. Do not expose this product to rain, moisture, or water under any circumstances, or it will result in damage.
3. Do not expose this device to excessive dust, or use any chemical substance or cleaning solvent to clean this device. Instead, use a soft, moist cloth for cleaning to avoid scratches that may compromise video quality.
4. Removing the camera from the vehicle when not in use is recommended. This prevents the likelihood of theft or exposure to excessive heat, causing damage to the unit.

1. This product is compatible with DC12V/24V vehicles.
2. Since this product uses a wide-angle lens, part of the image may be distorted. It also differs from the actual perspective. This is a characteristic of wide-angle lenses and is not a malfunction.

4. Some countries or US states prohibit drivers from mounting anything on the windshield or prohibit mounting on certain areas of the windshield.

Installation and Operating

Notes on Installation

1. Before installing Power on the dash cam to check whether all functions and their display can work normally.
2. When installing: Please do not turn on the mirror screen until all the cameras are plugged in; then the cameras can start up with a stable power/voltage perfectly, which is a must-have installation process for this mirror camera.
   If there is any expected issue with the dash cam, whether the product is on or off, you can try the tips below to reboot the dash cam and system..m

   • Tip: 1 for rebooting the dash cam: Remove the memory card firstly→ Press the RESET button (as below) with a paper clip or the tip of a pen → Reinsert the SD card

     

   • Tips 2 for rebooting the system: Enter the menu → Select “ Factory format ” → Select “ Confirm ” (Note: The Tips 2 above will restore the initial parameter settings of the product, after which you can reset the parameters again)
3. Don't pull too hard when routing cables of the dash cam. Ensure all cables are connected correctly and all ports are plugged in completely before powering on.
4. After Installation: The functions and display of the dash cam work normally before installing, but it can't work after installing. So there may be a problem with installation. Please check the connection of cables and ports again.
5. DON'T destroy or modify the original wiring without permission. If cables are damaged during installation, cables MUST be replaced.

Mirror Dash Cam Installation:

1. Turn off the dash cam. Insert the TF card into the TF card slot.
2. Note: Don’t remove the TF card when the dash cam is turned on. It will damage the TF card and its data..

3. Mounthe the T36S mirror dash cam over the original car rear view mirror with the provided rubber straps. Then adjust the angle.

   

Detached Front Camera Installation:

1. Choose installation positions of the front on the front windshield.
   (Note: It is recommended to install the front camera behind the rear view mirror.)]
2. Clean and dry the windshield before installation.
3. Remove protective films of double-sided stickers and stick the front camera to selected positions separately.
4. Arrange the camera cable and plug it into the front camera port

Warning: Don't install front in locations that block the river's field of view. Don't let camera cables obstruct the visual field of the dash cam and the driver.

Rear Camera Installation :

1. Check whether the rear camera can work well at first.
2. Choose the installation positions(Two options):
   • Position 1: Install the rear camera near the license plate.

Note: Position 1 is highly recommended. It supports viewing and parking assistance.
Installation steps for position 1:

1. Run the rear camera cable along from the top of the windshield, door frame, A-pillar, B-pillar, car boot, and all the way to the car license plate, and hide the cable behind the car rubber seals.
2. Find a suitable installation position near the license plate. Then, fix the camera with the provided screws and rear camera holder to the selected position.
   Note: It is recommended to set the rear camera angle pointing slightly down.)

3. 

   Plug the rear camera port into the AV-IN/AHD1 port on the dash cam.

4. Connect the red cable on the rear camera cable to the positive pole of the reversing light.

5. (Note: If you don’t need a reversing guild, you can choose not to connect the reversing light.

   

Position 2: Install the rear camera on the rear windshield.

• Note: Position 2 is designed for live stream rear view only, not suitable for parking assistant function.

  

Connecting the Power

Car Charger Connecting
As shown in the figure, run a power cable along from the top of the windshield, A-pillar, door frame,, and all the way tthe o the passenger-side glove box. Hide the cable behind the car's rubber seal on the edge. Then plug the car charger into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter and the dash cam's power port.

Hard-wire Kit (Optional to install)

NOTE: Hard-wire kit needs to be purchased separately, not included in the package.
As shown in the figure, run cable along from the top of the front windshield, door frame, A-pillar, and all the way to the driver-side glove box to connect to the car fuse box. Then plug the USB port into the dash cam power port.

Note:

1. The dash cam will turn off when the car engine is turned off. To record video when parked, a hardwired kit is required to connect the dash cam to the car's fuse box to power the dash cam when the engine is off.
2. To avoid compatibility issues, please use the T36 original hard-wire kit (Contact us or visit the KQQ store)

How to Install the GPS

How to Install the Free GPS player Software on PC/MAC

1. Insert the memory card into a PC/MAC via a card reader to read data from the card.
2. You will see the gpsplayer.exe in the added drive and install it on your PC/MAC.
3. After the GPS Player is installed, open it, and you can play videos, check the GPS log, etc.

Troubleshooting

The camera does not turn ON
When you plug it in, the camera should turn ON. If NOT, then long-press the Power Button to see if it turns ON? If it still does NOT turn ON, you can try the tips below to restart the camera：
Remove the memory card → Press the RESET button (as below) with a paper clip or the tip of a pen → Reinsert the SD card

Other Note:

1. Make sure the power cord is original
2. Please check whether the power cord is properly connected to the USB jack on the machine

The video is fuzzy
Please make sure the lens of the camera is clean and there is no dirt or grease on the windshield, also. If the lens is out of focus, we are extremely sorry in advance. Please send us an email with a screenshot or a sample video so we can get this resolved for you ASAP.
Other Note:

1. Check whether the camera surface sticker and the recorder screen sticker are torn off.
2. Make sure you use the original accessories in the package.? Such as front and rear cameras, and car cigarette lighters
3. Check that all accessories are securely inserted into the rear view mirror
4. Adjust screen brightness settings: Touch the touch screen to display the brightness scroll bar in the upper center, and then swipe left or right to adjust the brightness
5. Factory reset

Overexposure to recorded video
Checks the angle of the camera lens and whether it is pointing up to the sky. If it is, please adjust their angles again.

Constantly prompting that the SD Card needs to be formatted
You can try the tips below to restart the camera and format the SD card.：
Remove the memory card → Press the RESET button (as below) with a paper clip or the tip of a pen → Reinsert the SD card → Go to the menu and find the "Format SD "→ Select "Confirm"
Camera Stuck /Lagging or Crashing

• Guys, Please TRUST US on this. If your camera is stuck, lagging, or does NOT record video after some seconds, etc., while operating,: Then it is a Memory Card Issue. Either you are using the WRONG, FAKE, or BAD Memory Card. (Please be aware of the Fake Ones out there. If you have purchased your memory card from eBay or any third-party seller online,, then it is most likely a fake one, even though it looks exactly real. Please trust us. We have sold thousands of KQQ Dash Cameras,, and they do NOT last. We stand by our product, and we do extensive testing. Some customers simply think the camera is bad or not stable, but that is NOT the case here. 
• It’s the Memory Card Issue. Please CONTACT US, and we are dedicated to resolving this for you ASAP.

• Please press the RESET button only ONCE at the bottom of the camera with a paper clip or the tip of a pen while it is turned ON. This will restart the camera.

  

Other Note：

1. The power cord and memory card are original
2. Take out the SD or TF card, or press the power button
3. Replug and power on
4. Check whether the socket of the charger is inserted stably.
5. Format the memory card
6. Turn off the automatic shutdown mode
7. Check if it is parking mode

The camera turns ON / OFF frequently automatically.
Please reset your camera. Try updating the firm ware again to see if this can fix the issue. If still having issues, please reach out to customer care.

The camera gets HOT, and the dash cam is stuck.
It is normal for your camera to run slightly hot after a long time running. If the product experienced an extremely hot environment and the camera is stuck where no buttons will respond, then please press the RESET button only ONCE at the bottom of the camera with a paper clip or the tip of a pen while it is turned ON. This will restart the camera.

The oldest video files are missing..
Your KQQ Dash Cam has Loop Cycle Recording. When it is set to either 1, 3, or 5 minutes, it will delete the oldest files and record newer files over and over when the memory card is full. To test again: Set the date and me correctly, then FORMAT the memory card, then do the continuous recording test again, and check if all videos are present.

Camera Locks many videos automatically.
Please change your G-Sensor Setting to a slower Setting. This Setting depends on the type of car or truck you are driving and how much vibration your car/truck is creating based on the suspension and road conditions.

Error/Message “Card Full”
Format card by going into Settings > Format > Confirm> Select Format > 0K. Then go to Video Mode settings > Loop Recording > Choose either 1-minute, 3-minute, or 5-minute. This will allow the loop cycle function to be turned ON, and it will keep recording over and over. NOT: E Formatting will delete all the data from the memory. The micro SD Card is crooked or not going in the slot easily.
Please make sure you align the micro-SD card correctly, and align the side that shows information of the Micro SD card facing towards the front of the Mirror Side.

 The camera shows "Memory Error" or "Please Insert Micro SD Card" even though the memory card is already installed into the camera.

1. Please make sure the memory card is at least Class 10, U3, and purchased from trusted vendors such as Walmart,  Target, Best Buy, Ship & Sold by Amazon, etc. (There are many fake cards out there online. Remember, if it's cheap, it's fake.) Now go to the camera's system settings and FORMAT your memory card. Make sure to back up your videos first before formatting the memory card.) After formatting the memory card, please press and hold the power button to turn the camera off. Now unplug the power cable, and re-plug the power cable, the camera should now turn ON automatically and start recording.
2. If you're still getting the same error, then let’s press the PHOTO button to take the photo.
3. If you hear the shutter sound > then your camera is fine. Replace your memory card.
4. If you still get the same memory card error message, then your camera’s memory card assembly has become defective. Please contact us.8.13 My Video playback on PC is lagging.
   • You are viewing a high-bit-rate version of video files. A slower PC may have a problem with faster data processing. Please record videos at a lower resolution and try again. Contact us if the problem still persists.
