Purpose

This cordless multi-function attachment is designed to operate the approved attachments listed in the SPECIFICATIONS section of this owner's manual. Never use the device for other purposes.

WARNING: Before use, read the instructions for use of the attachment as well as these operating instructions. Failure to follow warnings and instructions may result in serious injury.

SAFETY PRCAUTIONS

General safety rules when working with power tools
WARNING. Read all warnings, instructions, illustrations and safety specifications supplied with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Save all warnings and instructions for future use.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your corded (corded) power tool or cordless (cordless) power tool. Workplace safety

  1. Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark places can cause accidents.

  2. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks that can ignite dust or fumes.

  3. Keep children and bystanders away from operating power tools. Distraction can lead to loss of control.

Electrical safety

  1. Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Do not modify the fork under any circumstances. Do not use adapter plugs with grounded power tools. Unmodified plugs and suitable outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.

  2. Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, stoves and refrigerators. If your body is grounded, there is an increased risk of electric shock.

  3. Do not expose power tools to rain or moisture. Water entering a power tool increases the risk of electric shock.

  4. Do not overuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry, pull, or disconnect a power tool. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.

  5. When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Using a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

  6. If you use a power tool in an advertising and location is unavoidable, use a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) power source. Using a GFCI reduces the risk of electrical shock.

  7. Power tools can generate electromagnetic fields (EMFs) that may not cause harm to the user. However, users of pacemakers and other similar medical devices should consult the device manufacturer and/or physician for advice before using this power tool.

Personal safety

  1. Be alert, watch what you do, and use common sense when operating power tools. Do not operate power tools if you are tired, under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention when operating a power tool can result in serious injury.

  2. Use personal protective equipment. Always wear safety glasses. Protective equipment such as a respirator, non-slip safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection used in appropriate conditions will reduce the incidence of injury.

  3. Prevent unintentional launch. Make sure the switch is in the off position before connecting to a power source and/or battery, or lifting or carrying the tool. Carrying a power tool with your finger on the switch, or operating a power tool with the switch on, may cause accidents.

  4. Remove the adjusting key or wrench before turning on the power tool. A wrench or wrench left on a rotating part of a power tool can cause injury.

  5. Do not overdo it. Always stay on your feet and maintain balance. This allows you to better control the power tool in unexpected situations.

  6. Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewelry, or long hair may become caught in moving parts.

  7. If devices are provided to connect dust collectors and dust collectors, make sure they are connected and used properly. Using a dust collector can reduce the dangers associated with dust.

  8. Don't let the familiarity gained from frequent tool use cause you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. Careless action can result in serious injury in a split second.

  9. Always wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from injury when operating power tools. Goggles must meet ANSI Z87.1 standard in the USA. It is the employer's responsibility to ensure that tool operators and others in the immediate work area use appropriate protective equipment.

Using and caring for power tools

  1. Do not force the power tool. Use suitable power tools. The right power tool will do the job better and safer at the speed for which it was designed.

  2. Do not operate a power tool unless the switch turns it on or off. Any power tool that cannot be operated with a switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

  3. Disconnect the power plug and/or remove the battery, if disconnected, from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the power tool. These preventative safety measures reduce the risk of accidental starting of the power tool.

  4. Keep power tools out of the reach of children when not in use and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

  5. Maintenance of power tools and accessories. Check for misaligned or seized moving parts, broken parts, or any other conditions that may affect the operation of the power tool. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poor maintenance of power tools.

  6. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to seize and are easier to control.

  7. Use power tools, accessories, attachments, etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Using power tools for operations other than those intended may result in a hazardous situation.

  8. Keep handles and gripping surfaces dry, clean and free of grease. Slippery handles and gripping surfaces make it difficult to handle and control the tool safely in unexpected situations.

  9. When using the tool, do not wear cloth work gloves as they may become tangled. Getting fabric work gloves entangled in moving parts can cause injury.

Using and caring for cordless tools

  1. Charge only with a charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may pose a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.

  2. Use power tools only with designated batteries. Use of any other battery packs may result in personal injury or fire.

  3. When the battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that could connect one terminal to another. Shorting battery terminals together may cause burns or fire.

  4. Under incorrect conditions, fluid may leak from the battery; avoid contact. In case of accidental contact, rinse with water. If liquid gets into your eyes, seek additional medical attention. Liquid leaking from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

  5. Do not use a damaged or modified battery or tool. Damaged or modified batteries may behave unpredictably, resulting in fire, explosion, or risk of injury.

  6. Do not expose the battery or tool to fire or extreme temperatures. Exposure to fire or temperatures above 130°C may cause an explosion.

  7. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery or tool outside the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging incorrectly or at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

Service

  1. Have your power tool serviced by a qualified service technician using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure the safety of the power tool.

  2. Never repair damaged batteries. Servicing of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.

  3. Follow instructions for lubrication and replacement of accessories.

  4. Do not modify or attempt to repair the device or battery except as specified in the operating and care instructions.
