OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Read all safety instructions and operating instructions before attempting to use this appliance/shaver.

CHARGING YOUR APPLIANCE

• Make sure both the shaver, charging power cord and your hands are dry before attempting to charge this appliance.
• Always charge this appliance in a cool, dry location.
• Plug charging power cord into base of shaver for 18-24 hours before initial use. Recharges will be completed quickly after initial use.
• The power light on your shaver will light on when charging is taking place.
• To preserve the life of the batteries, let them fully deplete every six months and then fully recharge them for a 24 hour period.

OPERATING YOUR APPLIANCE

• Always make sure back is clean and dry before attempting to use this product.

• The use of a 3-way mirror to see the entire back or a regular mirror to locate most problematic areas with dense hair is recommended before use.

• To shave back hair most effectively and efficiently, shave against the natural direction of hair growth.

• The direction of hair growth will vary for all individuals and on different areas of the back. Therefore, changing angles and directions (over shoulder / under arm) of shaving will help you learn and with practice, enable you to achieve optimum results.

• Your skin may need several weeks to adjust to an electric shaver. Once your skin adjusts, you’ll get an extremely close and comfortable shave.

• Pick up the shaver from the closed position and completely open to its maximum 135 degrees. This angle will enable you to reach difficult areas of the back with ease.

  

• Turn the shaver on by sliding on/off switch upward to on position.

• Hold shaver by its handle in opened position with hand of choice and reach over the shoulders to reach the upper areas of the back. Another option is to hold the shaver under the arm for a different angle and to reach middle and side of back better.

  

• To enable you to reach farther down to your lower back, push silver button on the black upper portion of the extendable handle. Keep pressure applied to the silver button while sliding the handle outwards to your desired increased length. Release pressure from button to lock in desired length.

  

• Move the shaver across the back to your areas with unwanted hair, while attempting to keep the entire surface area of shaver blade in contact with back.

  

• Heavy growth and problematic areas will need several attempts to efficiently remove all hair. Results will vary among different individuals.

• Do not move the shaver quickly or aggressively across the back.

• Never press hard or with force against the shaver in to back.

• At any time, if any irritation or discomfort arises – discontinue use immediately.

CLEANING and MAINTENANCE

• Clean this shaver after every use.
• Be sure shaver is turned off and unplugged from its charging power cord before attempting to clean.
• After each use, with included cleaning brush, brush and blow any remaining hair from the blade head.

• For more intensive cleaning, remove the blade head by: with shaver facing you in both hands, gently press upward with both thumbs to release the blade head from main body of shaver.  Remove the blade head.

  

  

• Once removed, use a damp cloth to gently wipe and clean any remaining hair from both the blade head and exposed top of the shaver’s main body.

• Once completed, replace the blade head back on main body of shaver by aligning the two front tabs of the shaver’s main body top with the two slots on the front inside of the blade head.

  

• Once removed. use a damp cloth to gently back of the blade head with your thumb until it locks back into place on the shaver’s main body and as indicated in the images below.  The fit should be secure and if not, do not operate the shaver and repeat the afore-mentioned steps until the fit is secure.

• When not in use, always store shaver with the included protection cap securely affixed on the shaver blade head.  This will protect the blade head and also help keep it clean.
• Do not wrap recharging cord around shaver when storing.
• Do not store or place shaver where it can be pulled or fall into a sink, tub, liquid or any water source.
• Always store charging adaptor and cord in a safe, dry location where it will not be cut or damaged.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY REMOVAL

When this appliance is deemed no longer useful, the batteries must be removed from the shaver and recycled or disposed of properly in accordance with your state and local requirements.

• Please unplug shaver from any electrical cord connected to an outlet or power source before dismantling shaver for battery removal.
• Allow the shaver to operate safely until the battery is depleted and no longer powering the unit.
• Once all power is depleted from the shaver, turn the power switch to OFF.

• Remove the back shavers head blade by following the detailed instructional images below:

  

  

• Once the shavers head blade is removed, turn the shaver on its side where the screw heads are exposed in the hinge of the shaver.

• Use a Philips head screwdriver to remove the 2 screws in the hinge of the shaver.

  

• Once the screws are removed, pull upward on upper hinge piece to remove from the shaver’s body.
• Turn the shaver over to expose the other side and opposing main hinge piece and remove this hinge piece by pulling upward and off of the shaver’s body.

• Once both hinge pieces are removed, there are two main pieces of the back shaver – the shaver’s main body (Fig. A) and adjustable handle (Fig. B).

  

• Place the shaver’s main body outward at a 90 degree angle pointing away from you on a table and with bladeless main body head down.
• On the left side of the shaver, place the head of the Philips screwdriver in the hinge hole only and hold shaver with your right hand.  Pull upwards gently with the Philips screwdriver to separate the two main pieces of the shavers outer body shell.

• You will now see the lower inner frame and its components including the circuit board and battery compartment on the lower portion of the body and the motor and power switch on the top.  Cut the 4 wires connecting the circuit board to the motor components until completely free from one another. Use a Philips screwdriver to unscrew the upper left and lower right screws connecting the circuit board and battery pack to the inner frame of the shaver. Remove the circuit board and battery pack from the inner shell of shaver’s main body.

  

• Dispose of the circuit board and batteries in accordance with your state and local applicable Law.
