Milli Axon Wall Top Assemblies User Guide
Content
Overview
Axon Wall Top Assemblies are wall-mounted tap assemblies designed for domestic, hotel, and commercial use. They are built for bath and shower applications where a clean wall-mounted finish is needed, and they suit installations that use a recessed breach and matching cartridge extension setup.
These assemblies are intended for licensed plumbing installation and are designed to provide reliable on/off control with a traditional wall-top handle layout. The hot-marked handle must be installed on the left-hand side from the user’s position.

Detailed description
Axon Wall Top Assemblies use a cartridge-based wall tap arrangement with a recessed breach interface, cartridge extension, bonnet, square plate, lock nut, and handle assembly. The cartridge screws into the recessed breach, then the cartridge extension links the spindle to the front controls. A red fibre washer and bonnet help secure the cartridge area, while the square plate and lock nut provide the visible wall finish and support.
The handle operation is a 3/4-turn style. The cartridge is turned clockwise until it stops at the OFF position, giving the user a clear end stop for shutoff. The hot-marked handle orientation is important for correct operation and must be positioned on the left side.
Safety
Water supply conditions must stay within the stated limits. If pressure is likely to exceed 550 kPa, an approved pressure-limiting device is required. If water temperature exceeds 75°C, an approved tempering valve must be fitted. The pipework should be flushed before installation to remove debris that could affect seals, movement, or long-term performance.
Installation must comply with AS3500.1 or the relevant local authority requirements. Failure to follow the listed water supply and installation rules may void the warranty. The product should also be handled carefully during installation to avoid over-tightening the cartridge or damaging the seats and sealing surfaces.
Setup and operation
Installation notes
- Check that the seats in the recessed breach are clean, undamaged, and free from foreign material.
- Confirm the wall-to-breach depth before choosing the cartridge extension.
- Screw the cartridge into the recess until it seals with the seat, but do not over-tighten it.
- Fit the correct cartridge extension to the spindle and fasten the screw.
- Place the red fibre washer around the cartridge, then tighten the bonnet firmly with a spanner.
- Fit the O-ring to the square plate, position the plate, and secure it with the lock nut.
- Fit the nylon washer into the lock nut groove before final handle assembly.
- Push the handle onto the cartridge extension, tighten the grub screw, and push in the screw cap.
Depth guidance
- Maximum recess depth shown for the recessed breach: 17 mm
- Cartridge extension selection is based on the measured distance from the recessed breach to the wall surface
- Typical fitting ranges shown in the instructions include 0 to 12 mm, 12 to 17 mm, 18 mm, and 29 mm depending on the wall set-out
Operation
Once installed, the handle provides a 3/4-turn action to open and close the water flow. The OFF position is reached when the cartridge is turned clockwise until it stops. For best control and long service life, the assembly should be used within the recommended pressure range.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean chrome-plated surfaces with mild liquid detergent or with soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, cream cleaners, citrus-based products, steel wool, and scouring pads because they can damage the surface finish.
Using the wrong cleaning products can mark or dull the surface, and damage caused by improper care is not covered by the product warranty. Gentle routine cleaning will help preserve the appearance of the Axon Wall Top Assemblies.
Warranty
Damage caused by improper treatment or unsuitable cleaning products is not covered by warranty. Installation that does not follow the stated water pressure, temperature, flushing, and compliance requirements may also void warranty protection.
