Detailed Description
The NW-1000 PRO Water Purifier combines reverse osmosis filtration with rapid heating technology. The reverse osmosis membrane is designed for fine filtration down to 0.0001 micrometres and is used to reduce deposits and heavy metals. Upstream filtration helps reduce sediment, rust, sand, suspended particles, residual chlorine, unwanted tastes, and odours.
The filtration assembly contains a PAC filter with a polypropylene sediment layer and activated-carbon rod, a CF activated-carbon filter with a Gourmet cartridge, and an RO membrane filter. Recommended replacement intervals vary with water quality and use: the PAC and CF filters are generally changed every 6–12 months, while the RO element is generally changed every 12–24 months.
Water is poured into the removable raw-water tank. Internal pumps move water through the filter stages and into the purified-water tank. Sensors monitor water levels, temperature, total dissolved solids, and operating conditions. The appliance also includes a TDS display, a transparent water window, an outlet nozzle, a water receiver, an integrated water path, and a filter-status indicator.
The main visible components are the display panel, outlet nozzle, transparent window, raw-water tank cover, water tank, main engine, and water receiver. Internal components include the float system, self-priming pump, RO membrane, carbon filters, TDS probe, purified-water tank, cooling module, heating module, electrolysis or enrichment module, waste-water solenoid valve, and ultraviolet lamp.
Safety
- Read the operating instructions before first use and keep them available for future reference.
- Place the appliance on a stable, level tabletop. The tabletop inclination must not exceed 10 degrees.
- Use a socket protected by at least a 10 A fuse. Do not operate the purifier from a universal socket or alongside other high-load electrical devices.
- Never immerse the housing in water. Clean the exterior with suitable surface-cleaning methods instead.
- Do not use the purifier when the water or surrounding temperature is below 4 °C or above 38 °C.
- Use only clear municipal tap water in the raw-water tank. Do not add cloudy water, ice, milk, juice, or other mixed liquids.
- Keep the water container supported on a tabletop; do not leave it hanging or improperly positioned.
- Do not place the outlet nozzle inside the rim of a receiving container while dispensing, because boiling water may obstruct the nozzle.
- Hot water can remain in the internal pipes after dispensing. Water selected immediately afterward may still be hot at the beginning of delivery.
- Keep hands away from the outlet while hot water is flowing. The maximum automatic dispensing quantity is 1000 ml.
- Children aged eight or older and people with limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities may use the appliance only with appropriate supervision or safety instruction. Children must not clean or service it without supervision.
- Stop using the purifier if the power cable is damaged. A qualified electrician must replace the cable before further use.
- Do not open the filter system or filter cartridges while the appliance is operating. Protect cartridges from direct sunlight, open flames, radiators, and mechanical damage.
- If the source water contains excessive sludge, unusually high TDS, or does not meet municipal tap-water quality, filter life may be shorter.
- Do not use the purifier without adequate disinfection when the water is microbiologically contaminated or its quality is unknown.
- Avoid touching the outlet tap directly to help maintain hygienic operation.
Setup and Operation
First setup
- Place the purifier on a flat table, cabinet, or other stable surface.
- Remove the raw-water tank and fill it with municipal tap water up to the MAX mark. Refit the tank and close its cover.
- Connect the appliance to the power supply.
- Hold the power button for two seconds to start the unit.
- Put a bowl or bucket beneath the outlet. Hold the rinse button for three seconds to begin the initial cleaning cycle.
- Allow approximately six minutes for the cleaning process. The manual recommends rinsing the appliance three times for the best initial water quality.
- After rinsing, empty the tank, refill it with fresh tap water, and wait for automatic water production to finish before normal use.
Touch controls
- Power: Hold for two seconds to start or place the appliance in standby. In active mode, hold for two seconds to enter standby.
- Cleaning: In start or standby mode, hold the cleaning control for three seconds to begin a cleaning cycle.
- TDS display: The display normally shows the PPB value and shows the selected water temperature while water is being dispensed. Press the relevant display control briefly to view the evaporation-residue or TDS value.
- Filter indicator: White indicates normal filter condition, orange indicates approximately 80% filter use, and red indicates that the filter has reached the end of its service life.
- Fresh-water indicator: This indicates that the raw-water tank contains too little water. Empty any remaining water and refill the tank with fresh tap water.
- No-water indicator: This indicates that the internal purified-water tank is empty. Water cannot be dispensed until the purifier produces more.
- Warning indicator: A continuously illuminated red warning status indicates a malfunction.
- Lock: Use the lock control to secure the Coffee, Tea, and Hot Water selections. The appliance can be set to lock automatically after five seconds when no selection is made.
Dispensing water
For the direct temperature selections, touch 15 °C, 25 °C, or 45 °C to dispense up to 1000 ml. Hot-water selections require unlocking before use; then choose 80 °C, 90 °C, or 100 °C. Touching any temperature button while water is being dispensed stops the current delivery.
For a 300 ml serving, touch the 300 ml button and then select the required temperature. The 300 ml indicator may remain illuminated after dispensing has finished.
To select a beverage-oriented temperature, use Temperature Control and then select Milk, Tea, Coffee, or Hot Water. The plus and minus controls adjust the temperature. If no further selection is made for five seconds, the process ends automatically.
Manual temperature mode
Hold the 80 °C and 100 °C buttons together for three seconds to enter temperature-control mode. The display shows 95. Use the minus button to lower the setting by one degree or the plus button to raise it by one degree. The lowest adjustable temperature is 85 °C. After the desired temperature is selected, wait five seconds without touching a control to save the setting.
Cooling function
When the cooling or ice-water function is used for the first time, select the ice-water control and then start dispensing to release air from the pipe. Next, dispense normal-temperature water for about ten seconds. When the water level in the transparent window begins to rise, dispensing can be stopped.
While the dispenser is operating, hold the cold-water control for five seconds to switch cooling off. Hold it again for five seconds to switch cooling back on. This function applies only to appliances equipped with the cooling feature.
Sleep mode
If no control is touched for 60 seconds, the display dims and the purifier enters sleep mode to reduce power use. Touching a control wakes the screen.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Hygiene
