How to assemble
TATA Swach Components: Your TATA Swach Silver Boost Water Purifier comes disassembled with following parts. Below are the simple steps to assemble your purifier. Ensure that the Tata Swach MF Membrane is dipped in clean water for 1 S min before fitting it as shown below:
Place the Lower Container on the Base.
You will find a Tap with 2 rubber washers and 1 plastic nut.
Fit one washer to the Tap . Fit the Tap in the slot available in the Upper Container. Lower Container.
Ensure that the TATASwach Lock in the Bulb fits the groove in the Upper Container.
Now take the Upper Container and place the TATA Swach Bulb in the slot provided.
Turn the Adaptor clockwise to firmly fix the TATA Swach Bulb.
Dip the MF Membrane in a vessel with clean water for15 minutes. Then attach the MF Membrane to the outlet of the Bulb. Ensure that two '0-Rings' of the membrane are present.
Place the Upper Container on the Lower Container.
Place the Top Cover on the Upper Container.
Lift the inlet pipe on the Top Cover to insert Top Mesh in the slot provided.
Place the Top Cap on Top Cover and fix it.
From the Tap Connection Kit, connect the Tap Adaptor to the tap.
Connect the other end of the pipe to connector fitted on the Top Cover of Water Purifier.
Follow post assembly instructions before use.
Note: While filling the Upper Container, close the tap connection once the Top Mesh gets filled to avoid overflow .

Before Regular Use
After you have assembled your TATA Swach Silver Boost Water Purifier fill the Upper Container with water. In about 2-3 hours, entire water would have passed from Upper to Lower Container through the TATA Swach Bulb and the MF Membrane. Empty the Lower Container completely. Now detach the MF Membrane and back-fiush with the help of the Bellow Pump and then attach the MF Membrane to the outlet of the Bulb. Your Tata Swach Silver Boost Water Purifier is now ready for use .
Setup Guide
Setting up the Tata Swach Silver Boost Water Purifier is a simple and straightforward process. Here are the steps to follow:
- Unpack the purifier and remove all the packaging material.
- Place the purifier on a flat and stable surface.
- Connect the water inlet pipe to the purifier and the water outlet pipe to your kitchen tap or water storage container.
- Plug in the power cord and switch on the purifier.
- Wait for a few minutes for the purifier to fill up with water. The water may take some time to flow out of the purifier initially, but it will start flowing smoothly once the purifier is primed.

Replacing Tata Swach Bulb and MF Membrane
Once your TATA Swach Bulb and MF Membrane purifies approximately 3000 litres of water, the TATA Swach Fuse will stop the water flow. This indicates that it is now time to change the TATA Swach Bulb and MF Membrane. If in case the TATA Swach Fuse does not stop till 6 months of normal usage, it is recommended to change the TATA Swach Bulb and MF Membrane. Changing your TATA Swach Bulb and MF Membrane is as simple as changing a light bulb. Simply follow the steps below:-
Remove Upper Container and empty out any remaining water.
- Hold TATA Swach Bulb with one hand and turn the Adaptor in anti-clockwise direction with the other hand (as in the diagram). TATA Swach Bulb is unlocked. Pull it outwards gently along with the MF Membrane.
- Now fit the TATA Swach Lock of the new TATA Swach Bulb in the groove of the Upper Container and place the Bulb in slot provided. Turn the Adaptor clockwise to fit the Bulb firmly. Then fit the new MF Membrane to the outlet of the TATA Swach Bulb.

In case of reduced water flow from the Purification Media:
Check if the top indicator of the Fuse is very close to the bottom of the Bulb. If yes, change the Bulb and MF Membrane. Else, follow the easy steps below to remove trapped air and/or foreign impurities from the TATA Swach Bulb and/or TATA Swach MF Membrane
- Locate Bellow Pump.
- Detach MF Membrane from Bulb.
- Put the nozzle at the output of Bulb.
- Push air inside.
- If the water doesn't flow, fill the Bellow Pump with dean water and push into the slot once.
- Push water inside.
- Attach nozzle of Bellow Pump at the output of MF Membrane.
- Push air inside.
Attach the MF Membrane to the Bulb.
Warranty about Tata Swach Silver Boost Water Purifier
The warranty period for the Water Purifier's Plastic Components starts from the date of purchase by the first end user and shall be valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase by the first end user.
