Battery Information

  • The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two of three complete charge and discharge cycles. 
  • Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger since overcharging may shorten battery lifetime. If left unused, a battery will lose power with passage of time, so if the device is not used for long time it is suggested to charge once in a month time.

Charge the TEWTROSS device to full before using it for the first time. While in use, if the RED LED flashes three times continuously it means the unit is low on power.

Instructions
Important Note: Slide the button to “ TX” side when the device is in switched off condition ( Slide after 5 seconds if it was in switched on state, as it takes few seconds to finish power completely from the chipset)

Tips

  1. All paired devices in RX mode will be deleted after power on in “TX” mode
  2. Switching between modes (TX or RX) should be done while unit is in switch off condition. Please change mode etc. 5 seconds later after the unit power off

Note: While working as Bluetooth transmitter, it can store 4 devices and the stored devices will be updated by the latest paired ones. (To save time after power on, keep less devices paired as too many devices will take long time to reconnect while pairing.)

  1. Power on: While switch off, long press MFB for 3 seconds, Blue LED flashes twice to power on.
    Pairing or Connection Mode: TEWTROSS BTA003 enters into pairing mode automatically (If any other already paired device is not active.)
  2. Power off: Long press MFB for 3 seconds, Red LED flashes to power off. (Please switch on the unit after 5 seconds only, as power of the chipset may not finish instantly)
  3. Pairing mode: Power on the unit, double click the MFB, Blue LED flashes to enter pairing mode. If not connected in 2 minutes, the device will go in standby mode.
  4. Clear up the existing pairing list: Power off with the current working mode (TX or RX), 5 seconds later, switch to the other working mode, then power on, and the pairing information for the former mode will be cleared up.
  5. Re-connecting with the alredy paired device: The Device automatically connects to the last paired & played device. For faster connection, make sure that the Bluetooth of all other device is switched off
  6. Power off automatically: The device gets power off automatically when the battery voltages lower than 3.1V.

Steps for Bluetooth Transmitter Setup

Pairing & Using TEWTROSS BTA003 with Bluetooth headphone or speaker (A2DP enabled) for listening to TV, Pc, Mp3 audio wirelessly  

  • A: First of all, turn on the Bluetooth speaker or headphone in Pairing Mode. Make sure that no other Bluetooth is on in any other device 
  • B: Long press MFB around 3 seconds to switch on until Blue LED flashes quickly & enters into pairing mode automatically OR double click MFB button to enter in to pairing mode while the device is already in a powered on state. 
  • C: Keep the transmitter & Bluetooth headphone or Speaker together within 1 Mtr range, BTA003 will connect with Bluetooth speaker or headphone automatically in about 30 seconds 
  • D. Connect the TEWTROSS BTA003 and TV with 3.5mm audio cable.  (Plug one side of the audio cable to the audio output jack of the TV, the other side to BTA003)
  • E: Now you can hear the sound coming from TV in the Bluetooth headset or speaker. If No Audio sound is coming please ensure that you have inserted the Transmitter cable in the correct Audio out port of the TV, PC, Mp3 Etc. 

TV, Pc Audio Check Test
Insert a simple wired headset to the Audio Out Aux port & see if sound is coming. If yes, then insert Transmitter aux cable to proceed. If no, then check the correct audio port & TV settings.

Note: Bluetooth headset or speaker must support A2DP to work together. 
Passcode for supported Bluetooth headset, Bluetooth receiver, Bluetooth speaker etc. is ”0000”,”1234”,”1111”,”8888” 

Connection with two devices simultaneously while working as a Bluetooth transmitter

  1. Let’s name the two Bluetooth headsets or speakers as A and B.
  2. Select TX mode for the device TEWTROSS BTA003 (While device is switched off)
  3. Follow the mentioned pairing steps for Bluetooth transmitter to connect device A
  4. After successful connection, switch off device A Bluetooth and TEWTROSS BTA003, and now pair Device B with TEWTROSS BTA003 (following the same pairing steps )
  5. After successful connection with device B, switch off TEWTROSS BTA003.
  6. Now switch on the device A after around 20-30 seconds. Then power on the TEWTROSS BTA003 (no need to enter into pairing mode), it will search and connect with device A and B automatically, the pairing time will take around 30 seconds. Connect with audio resource to check if the two devices could play simultaneously. If not, please switch off TEWTROSS BTA003, and switch on again after 5 seconds to connect with device A and B.

Tip: If still doesn’t work, please rework the steps for two connections simultaneously. 

Tips for Tewtross Audio Transmitter and Receiver pairing

  1. Put the Bluetooth headset or speaker into pairing mode first. Then power on TEWTROSS BTA003. If the Bluetooth headset or speaker have already paired or connected with TEWTROSS BTA003 before, then it will connect automatically.
  2. If TEWTROSS BTA003 doesn’t connect with the Bluetooth headset or speaker after more than 1 minute, then please try to refresh both the devices pairing by restarting both the devices in pairing mode.

Bluetooth Receiver Modes in Tewtross Audio Transmitter and Receiver

Tips

  1. All the paired devices in TX mode will be deleted after power on in RX mode.
  2. Switching between different mode (TX or RX) should be done while the device is in switch off condition (5 seconds later after the unit is switched off as it takes few  seconds for the power to completely get finished from the chipset in use.
  3. Stores upto 8 paired devices & is auto updated according to the last paired devices.

Slide the button to “RX” side (While the Device is switched off) to activate receiver mode. 

  1. Power on: Long press MFB for 3 seconds, Blue LED flashes twice to power on. (TEWTROSS BTA003 enters into pairing mode automatically if no already paired device is nearby)
  2. Power off: Long press MFB for 3 seconds, Red LED flashes twice to power off. (If needed, please switch on the unit again after 5 seconds only, as voltage of the chipset may not finish instantly) 
  3. Pairing mode: Power on the unit, double click the MFB, Blue & Red LED flashes alternatively & the unit enter into pairing mode. It power off automatically if not connected to any device for 5 minutes.
  4. Play / Pause: While playing music, short press MFB to pause or play.
  5. Clear up the existing pairing list: Power off with the current working mode, 5 seconds later, change to another working mode, then power on, the pairing information for the former mode will be cleared up automatically.
  6. Re-Connecting with the already paired devices: The device connects automatically to the last connected device. For faster connection make sure that all other devices Bluetooth is Switched off.
  7. Power off automatically

TEWTROSS BTA003 connection process with two devices simultaneously while working as a Bluetooth receiver

Note: TEWTROSS BTA003 can connect with two mobile phone simultaneously (but cannot not play music from two mobile phone at the same time. you can choose any mobile phone to play music, but you need to pause or end the music from another phone.) 

  1. Let’s name the two mobile phones as A and B.
  2. Follow the pairing steps to connect A with TEWTROSS BTA003, & after successful connection, please switch off the Bluetooth of mobile A. Double click MFB of TEWTROSS BTA003 to enter into pairing mode.
  3. Connect mobile B with TEWTROSS BTA003. After successfully connection, Switch off TEWTROSS BTA003. Now switch on the Bluetooth of mobile A, and then power on BTA003, it will connect automatically with the two mobile phones in about 30 seconds.
