GETTING STARTED
Activation Process

Once the system language is set, you will be directed to the activation page, as illustrated below. You can also click the "Trial" button in the upper right corner to explore the system before activation.

Click "Start Activate" to proceed to the activation page, as shown below:

A pop-up window confirming "Activation Success" will indicate that you have completed the initial setup. Click "OK" to enter the diagnostic system and start using the device.

Main Interface
Operating System
The main page of the device's operating system is depicted below. You can return to this interface at any time by clicking 【】 on the bottom navigation bar.

The icons on the right, from top to bottom, are browser, photo album, application square, file manager, system settings, as shown below:
- Browser: Click on the browser icon to enter the browser to view the official website of Xtool or search for other information.
- Gallery: Click the Gallery icon to enter the album to quickly view the pictures or screenshots stored in the device. You can select the picture you need, click the share button on the upper right, and send the picture to your mobile phone or PC via Bluetooth or USB connection
- Application Square: You can check all Apps installed here.
ES File Explorer: You can manage APP, music, files, pictures, etc. in the device in this function, and you can also use Local/Home/Cleaner to clean up files.

Diagnosis System Entrance
Once activated, you will automatically enter the diagnostic system, where the following main screen will appear. Tap on the diagnosis application button in the menu to access the main interface:

The main interface consists of Function Buttons and Navigation Buttons. The touch screen navigation is menu-driven, allowing quick access to functions by selecting the option title and responding to any dialog windows. A detailed description of the menu structure can be found in the next section, Function Buttons.
Function Buttons
The following table briefly describes each function button.
Navigation Buttons
The navigation bar buttons at the bottom of the screen operate as described in the table below:
Notification Bar
Slide down to open the notification bar. Users can adjust the screen brightness as needed and connect to Wi-Fi, among other options.

REPORT
The Diagnostic Report feature allows users to view and print saved files, such as Live Data, Trouble Codes, and images generated during the diagnostic process. Users can also access a record of previously tested vehicles. The report includes three parts:
- Report
- Replay
- File Management

This feature provides a history of diagnostic reports, enabling users to view and delete vehicle diagnostic reports as needed.

When you open a report, the header of the table displays the studio information you entered during system setup, followed by the vehicle information, including the diagnosis date and time, VIN, vehicle brand, and diagnosis path, as shown below:

Print PDF Report
At the bottom right corner of the report, you can click "Print PDF Report" to output the PDF version. To close the report, tap the “Exit” button.
Follow these steps to print your report:
- Install a Printer App: Install an app compatible with your target printer. Add the printer and input the printer's IP address in the app, or contact your dealer for assistance.
- Enable Printing: Return to the Android main menu, go to Settings → Printing → Turn the printer on.
Access the Report: Navigate to Report → Choose the desired report → Click Print PDF Report → Select Print.

Replay
This function allows you to replay the live data recorded during the diagnostic process.

Before replaying the live data, ensure that you clicked the "Save to Reference" button during the diagnosis.

File Manager
This function enables users to check and delete files on the device. It is recommended to use this function under professional guidance, as ordinary users should not operate it independently.

Setup Guide
To set up the xtool Car BT Diagnosis System D8, follow these steps:
- Download and install the xtool app on your smartphone or tablet from the app store.
- Power on the D8 device and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.

When you first start the remote application, the ID will be automatically generated based on the device's hardware characteristics and will remain unchanged for future sessions. This unique TeamViewer ID allows access to all TeamViewer clients.
Important Notes:
- Ensure that your tablet is connected to the Internet before launching the remote desktop application. This connection is necessary to receive remote support.
- If you encounter any issues that you cannot resolve, open this application to request remote assistance.
Steps to Obtain Remote Support:
- Power On the Tablet: Turn on your tablet.
- Open TeamViewer: Click on "Remote" in the diagnosis application. The TeamViewer screen will be displayed, and your device ID will be generated.
- Partner Preparation: Your partner must download and install the full version of the TeamViewer program from www.teamviewer.com on their tablet. They should start the software on their device at the same time to provide support and remote control.
- Provide Your ID: Share your TeamViewer ID with your partner or Xtool technician and wait for them to send a remote-control request.
- Confirm Remote Access: A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the remote-control request.
- Click Allow to grant access.
- Click Reject to deny access.
