User Instruction

In order to prevent damage to you and others during use, please be aware of the following:

  • Please do not attempt to use the machine in any way undescribed in the instructions to avoid accidental personal injury and property damage.
  • Please do not place this machine near inflammable and explosive materials or high heat sources. Place this machine in a ventilated, cool, and dust-free environment.
  • Please do not place the printer on a large vibrating or other unstable platform. The shaking of the machine will affect the printing quality.
  • Please do not replace the power line of other products during installation. Use the original power line supplied with the machine. The working power supply uses 110V/220V AC. The power plug must be plugged into the three-hole socket with a ground wire to avoid damage to components or accidents such as fire and electric shock.
  • Please do not touch the nozzle and heating bed while the printer is working to prevent high temperature burns and personal injury.
  • Please do not wear gloves or wrappers when operating the machine in case the movable parts cause entanglement and cutting damage to the human body.
  • After printing, use the remaining temperature of the nozzle to clean up the filament with the help of tools. Do not touch the nozzle directly with your hands during cleaning to prevent scalding.
  • Regularly maintain the product. When the power is off, clean the printer body with a dry cloth to wipe away dust and bonded printing materials, foreign objects on guide rails. Lubricating oil is recommended for sliding parts, screw rods, and bearing parts.
  • Children under 14 years old or people above 60 years old should use this machine under adult supervision to avoid personal injury.
  • Some filaments will produce a slight odor, but it won't make people feel uncomfortable. It is recommended to use the A8 Plus in a well-ventilated environment.
  • Self-disassembly or modification may cause damage or abnormal performance, and your machine will no longer enjoy warranty service.
  • It is recommended to use the A8 in a well-ventilated environment. Please cut off the power supply after use.

First Print

Leveling

  1. Turn to zero: Main Menu “Position” → “Auto home”
  2. Turn off Step Motor: After turning to zero, main menu “Quick Settings” → “Disable stepper”
  3. Leveling: Adjust the distance between the nozzle and the hotbed to 0.1mm.

    40.png

Filament Installation (take PLA for example)

  1. Preheating: Main Menu “Quick Settings” → “Preheat PLA”. Enter preheating state.

    41.png
  2. Install Filament: When the preheating temperature reaches the setting data, push the filament into the tube as below. Installation is successful if the material overflows from the nozzle. (Also need to preheat the nozzle when pulling out the filament from the extruder.)

    42.png

The thumb presses the screw head of the extrusion head, and the index finger holds the air guide. Quickly push the consumables down until the nozzles are spitting out.

Print Operation

Choose Print File: Main Menu “SD Card” → “Print file” → “Model File” Confirm. After the extruder and hot bed reach the setting temperature, the extruder starts moving and prints.

Faqs

What kinds of filaments are compatible with the A-Net A8?

An assortment of filaments, including as PLA, ABS, TPU, PETG, HIPS, and wood-fill, can be used with the A-Net A8. Because of its adaptability, users are able to try out a wide range of materials and applications, from ABS for strong, hard components to TPU for flexible, rubbery things.

How big is the A-Net 3D Printer A8 when assembled?

A-Net A8 dimensions are 220 mm x 220 mm x 240 mm for the build volume. Various projects, including as prototypes, toys, and home objects, might benefit from the enormous room it gives for building medium to large-sized models.

The A-Net A8 is compatible with this software?

Cura, Repetier-Host, and Simplify3D are just a few of the well-known slicing programs that work with the A-Net 3D Printer A8. These applications help users get their 3D models ready for printing by transforming them into G-code, a language that printers can read and use.

How many different file types is the A-Net 3D Printer A8 compatible with?

The printer is compatible with G-code, OBJ, and STL files. Common 3D model file formats include STL and OBJ, and printers employ G-code to actually print the models.

When using an A-Net A8, what is the optimal layer resolution?

Between 0.1 and 0.3 mm is the sweet spot for layer resolution. A nice compromise between print speed and quality is achieved in this way. A lower layer height of 0.1 mm is ideal for finer details, while a greater layer height of 0.3 mm can be used for speedier prints.

I was wondering if the A-Net A8 had a heated bed.

A heated bed is standard with the A-Net A8. By maintaining a warm base and improving adhesion of the first several layers, the heated bed aids in avoiding prints from distorting.

What about flexible filaments? Can the A-Net 3D Printer A8 handle them?

The A-Net A8 is compatible with flexible filaments, including TPU, so the answer is yes. To print with the flexible material without problems, you might have to tweak the print settings like slowing down the print speed and making sure the filament is fed properly.

Can I use auto bed leveling sensors with the A-Net 3D Printer A8?

An automatic bed leveling sensor is an available option for the A-Net A8. By pre-printingly adjusting the bed level, this enhancement helps increase print accuracy by maintaining a constant distance between the nozzle and the bed throughout the print surface.

What is the procedure for connecting the A-Net A8 to a computer?

The A-Net A8 has a USB port that allows it to be linked to computers. An SD card also allows you to send print jobs straight to the printer. Because of this adaptability, customers can select the mode of file transfer that best suits their needs.

The A-Net 3D Printer A8 has what kinds of safety features?

To avoid overheating and guarantee safe printing operations, the A-Net A8 has safety measures like thermal runaway protection. This safety feature detects when the hotend temperature becomes too high and turns off the printer to avoid any potential fire or damage. The printer's power source also has built-in safeguards to avoid electrical problems.
