INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Open the front shell of the air purifier and unwrap the plastic package of the HEPA filter.

  2. Reinstall the HEPA filter. Make sure the pull-tab is facing outward. Then reinstall the front shell.

    NOTE:  If the front shell is not reinstalled properly, the air purifier will not power on.

  3. Place the air purifier on a flat and firm position.
    Place the air purifier at least 15 inches away from TVs, radios, and other electronic products. Electromagnetic interference from certain electronics may cause product malfunction. Flimsy or slanted surfaces may increase noise and vibrations.

  1. Insert the power cord into an electrical outlet.

    WARNING: Follow these instructions to reduce the risk of serious injury or death and to reduce risk of damaging the unit.
    Please make sure the operating voltage is the same as the parametric label. 
    For American and Canadian users, our product will be equipped with a polarized plug that will fit into the 120V power outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact qualified personnel to install the proper outlet.

  2. Control Panel Introduction

      Press this button to turn the air purifier on or off.
      Note
      Filter Reset Function: The On/Off Button will flash continuously when it is time to replace the filter. Replace the filter, and then press and hold the On/Off Button for 5 seconds to reset it. The light will stop glowing and the system will start to record the filter usage.

      Press to cycle between 3 fan speeds: low, medium, and high.

      Press the Sleep Mode Button to select Sleep Mode.
      In Sleep Mode, the fan will run at the quietest level.

      • Delay Start Timer:
        Set the delay start while the machine is powered on but not running. The timer can be set for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. Once the timer reaches zero, the air purifier will start running.
      • Delay Off Timer:
        Set the delay off while the machine is powered on and running. The timer can be set for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. Once the timer reaches zero, the air purifier will enter standby mode. Note:
        To cancel a timer, press the timer button until the timer button light turns off.
        The timer will restart every time you select a new timer length.

      Press and hold the Child Lock button for 5 seconds until the light glows. At this time, other buttons are unable to be used.
      Press and hold the child lock button for 5 seconds again to unlock .

Setup Guide

Setting up the AirThereal HEPA Air Purifier APH230C is easy and straightforward.

  1. Remove the air purifier from the box and plug it into a power outlet.
  2. Open the front panel and remove the plastic covers from the filters.
  3. Replace the pre-filter and the HEPA filter if necessary (filters are usually replaced every 6-8 months depending on usage).
  4. Close the front panel and turn on the air purifier.
  5. Use the touchscreen display to select the fan speed, set the timer, or adjust other settings as needed.

Replace the Air Filter

  1. Power off and unplug before operating. Remove the front shell.

  2. Take out the old filter by pulling the tab. Unwrap a new one.

  3. Install a new filter in the unit. Make sure the pull tab on the filter is facing outward and put the front shell on.

  4. Power the unit on. Press and hold the On/Off Button on_off_button.png for 5 seconds to reset the replacement reminder.

Cleaning
Unplug the power cord before cleaning

  • Plastic housing should be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with mild soap. Thoroughly remove soap film with a dry cloth.
  • Open the front panel and clean the interior and air outlet with a vacuum cleaner.
  •  For better maintenance, it’s recommended to clean the unit every 2 months.

  • DO NOT use this appliance with indoor smoke-type insect repellents or in places with oily residues, burning incense or chemical fumes.
  • DO NOT open the back shell while the air purifier is on. It will automatically turn off the unit.

  • DO NOT clean the appliance with water or any other liquid to avoid electric shock or injury.
