Setup of Children Simmons Bedside Bassinet 

1. Unbox the bassinet and remove all packaging materials.
2. Assemble the frame by connecting the legs and crossbars. Make sure all connections are secure and tight.
3. Attach the canopy by sliding it onto the frame and adjusting it to the desired position.
4. Place the mattress pad and fitted sheet on the sleeping surface.
5. Lock the caster wheels by turning the wheel until it stops.
6. Place the bassinet next to your bed and lower the side wall to allow for easy access to your baby.

BASSINET FRAME ASSEMBLY & LEG EXTENSION

1. Insert support bar to the left side frame stand (Fig. 1A).  Secure with the two screws (Fig. 1B). Use the wrench to tighten screws in clockwise direction (Fig. 1C). Repeat for the right side frame stand. Make sure frame is in a fully locked position (Fig. 1D) pull outward on left and right side frames.

   

   

2. Fully extend both sides of the bassinet legs by pressing the button located on top of the bassinet legs  and pull outward B to fully extended position (Fig. 1E).

   

3. Align top back support tube to the side frames. Insert both sides of the top support tube into the bassinet frame until holes are aligned (Fig. 1F). After top support is in place, insert nut & bolt as shown (Fig. 1G) and use the wrench to tighten screws in clockwise direction.

   

4. Place the back bassinet fabric over the back rail tube. Align and fasten zipper to top rail (Fig. 1H). NOTE: Zipper pull tab slider located on left side.

   

   

   

BASSINET FABRIC ASSEMBLY

1. Place the front bassinet fabric over the front top support tube. Fully zip fabric bassinet.  (Fig. 2A) into fully zipped fabric bassinet (Fig. 2B).

   

   

2. Insert the divider support bar into the middle divider (Fig. 2C).

   

3. Place sheet over each mattress support pad. Place each mattress support pad with sheet into bassinet.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

WARNING: NEVER adjust height with baby inside.

1. Remove mattress support pads.

   

2. Locate left side locking housing (A), push and hold up from underneath locking housing (B). Then press the lever inward (C) and move top rail up or down into the desired position. There are 6 positions total (D).

   

   
   NOTE: TO adjust up or down you must unlock EACH SIDE separately.

3. Repeat STEP 2 on the right side.
   NOTE: Make sure the bassinet is equally level.c
4. Insert mattress support pads.
   NOTE: The mattress support pad should fully cover the bassinet bottom. No excess fabric should show on the edges.

REMOVING FABRIC

1. Remove mattress support pads from bassinet.

   

2. Remove divider support bar from the middle divider (Fig. 4A).

   

3. Unzip both sides of the bassinet fabric from the top rail (Fig. 4B) to (Fig. 4C).

   

BASSINET FRAME DISASSEMBLY

1. Use wrench to remove nut & bolt to remove nut & bolt by turning counter-clockwise (Fig. 5A)

   

2. Pull upward on tube to remove (Fig. 5B).

   

3. Using the wrench, unscrew screws on left and right side frame (Fig. 5C). 
4. Pull frame stand outward to remove. Repeat on opposite side (Fig. 5D).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• The frame and mattress pads may be wiped clean using a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth. 
• Do not use bleach. 
• Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. Rinse clean with water to remove residue. 
• Do not immerse the frame.
• The sheets are machine washable. Wash them separately in cold water on the gentle cycle. 
• Do not use bleach. Tumble dry separately on low heat and remove promptly.
• Always store product in a clean and dry place.

Troubleshooting

• If the bassinet is wobbling or unstable, check all connections to ensure they are secure and tight.
• If the canopy is not adjusting properly, make sure it is fully seated on the frame and try adjusting it again.
• If the wheels are not locking, make sure they are turned all the way until they stop.
