Operating Instructions

1. Hold the mill in upright position, open top cover by turning counter-clockwise. Over time, this top will become easier to remove.
2. Remove white plastic sleeve from the battery compartment, insert 4 AA size batteries (not included), put the sleeve back on to secure the batteries inside compartment.  
   IMPORTANT: Do not throw away the white sleeve.

3. Pull and separate the upper console (Figure 1) from the container base (Figure 2) to load pepper or salt. Fill up to 80% full for smooth operation.

   

4. Align the two metal wires on the upper console with the two metal contacts on the container base, then push the upper console into the container base until it fits in.

5. Hold the mill in upright position and put the top cover back on the upper console while aligning the “arrow” symbol from the top cover to the “unlock” symbol (Figure 3) on the container base. Once the top cover is securely fastened onto the container base, rotate clockwise until a “click” sound is heard.

   

6. Remove the black cap (Figure 4) from the bottom of the mill, then push and hold the button on the top to mill. Milling stops immediately when you release the button.

7. To control the fineness of the grind, adjust the control dial on the underside of the mill. Hold the mill in upright position, turn clockwise for finer grind and counter-clockwise for coarser.

   

NOTE: Do not adjust the control dial too tight.

Setting up the itouchless Battery is easy and straightforward:

1. Insert the batteries into the compartment at the bottom of each shaker.
2. Place the shakers on the tabletop, making sure they are close enough for the infrared sensors to detect each other.
3. To use, simply wave your hand over the top of the shaker to dispense the desired quantity of salt or pepper.

ATTENTION

• The white sleeve cover MUST be used to secure the batteries in place.
• Do not overfill the container base. Fill up to 80% full of pepper or salt for smooth operation.
• Do not adjust the control dial too tight.
• Use only 4 AA size batteries. For best results, use alkaline batteries of the same brand.
• Keep the mill clean and sealed when not in use.
• Avoid contact with water.
