Faqs

What is induction cooking?

Kent Induction Cooktop KAG-01 uses an electromagnetic field to generate heat directly in the pot or pan, rather than heating the surface of the cooktop. This results in faster cooking times, more precise temperature control, and energy efficiency.

What types of pots and pans are compatible with the Kent Induction Cooktop KAG-01?

Induction-compatible pots and pans are made of ferromagnetic materials, such as cast iron or stainless steel. To test if a pot or pan is induction-compatible, try placing a magnet on the bottom of the pot or pan. If the magnet sticks, the pot or pan should work with the induction cooktop.

How do I clean the Kent Induction Cooktop KAG-01?

To clean the cooktop, simply wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or metal scrubbers, as they can scratch the surface. For stubborn stains, use a cooktop cleaner specifically designed for ceramic glass surfaces.

What is the warranty on the Kent Induction?

The Kent Induction Cooktop KAG-01 comes with a 1-year limited warranty. Contact the manufacturer for more information or to file a warranty claim.

What should I do if the cooktop is not heating?

Make sure the cooktop is properly plugged into a working outlet. Check that the pot or pan you are using is induction-compatible and properly centered on the cooktop. If the cooktop is still not heating, try adjusting the power level or selecting a different cooking function.

What should I do if the cooktop is overheating?

If the cooktop is overheating, try reducing the power level or turning off the cooktop and allowing it to cool down. Make sure to use the cooktop in a well-ventilated area and avoid covering the ventilation holes.
