Installation 

• The device should be installed with the sticker side facing u,p as this is where the directional GPS receiver is located. If possible, avoid installing the device behind thick metal surfaces, es as this will degrade the satellite signal strength. 
  (e,.g. inside the engine bay or the boot) 
• Ideal installation places are under the front dashboard or behind the glove box. (See illustrations below) 
• If you only require GPS location-related tracking information, simply connect the RED - Power and BLACK - Ground cables only. The Input and output wires are for the optional extra accessories and will not affect the main operation of the device. 

LED Lights 

• GPS LED: Solid green - Indicates that your device is searching for the GPS signal. Once the GPS connection is established, this LED light will start flashing. 
• Status LED: Flashing status LED light indicates that your tracker has power and is operational. 

Wiring Socket Pinout 

1. RED: Permanent live power (positive). Supports from 1 Ov up to 30v DC
2. Grey: Analog input. Can be used to measure the exact live voltage of an external device. (e.g., Generator, aux. batter, y, etc.)
3.  White: Analog input 2: Same as above
4. White/Green: Digital Input 2: Digital inputs are used for monitoring positive signals from external sources such as switches, tailgate lift, external alarms, sirens, etc. A Digital input has only two states (1 = On, 0 = Off)
5. Yellow: Digital input 1: Dedicated digital input for ignition detection. Must be connected to the ignition switch or an accessory that receives power from the ignition. (e.g., stereo)
6. White/Blue: LVCAN - TX: Dedicated for optional LVCAN canbus adapter only.
7. Black: Ground/Earth/chassis
8. White/Orange: Digital Output 1: Negative signal output, can be controlled by using the "send command" section of GPSLive. Normally used witha relay for controlling external devices. (e.g. starter motor , I engine cut-off.
