Various Cleaning Modes

Four cleaning modes are provided to meet your needs:

1. Auto Cleaning Mode: The robot will clean your room automatically and adjust its cleaning behavior based on specific situations.

   

2. Spot Cleaning Mode: The robot will clean intensively in a spiral way when it detects a very dirty area while the suction components are being used. Users need to press the SPOT button on the remote control to enter spot cleaning mode when the roller brush components are being used, making the cleaning more efficient.

   

3. Edge Cleaning Mode: In this mode, the robot will clean along the wall or obstacles.

   • Press this button to change from sleep mode to standby mode. In standby mode, press this button and hold it for more than 3 seconds to go into sleep mode.

Product Operation

Battery Charging

Charging station placement

Place the charging station against the wall and remove obstacles from within 1 meter on both sides and about 2 meters in front of the station, as shown in the right figure.

1. If the robot has been shut down, power on the robot by pressing the power switch at the right side of the robot for more than 3 seconds.
2. Charge the robot in either way as shown below:
   • Insert the adaptor into the robot and the plug at the other end to the power socket as shown in Fig a.

   • Press on the robot or remote control to operate the robot to go back to the charging station for recharging as shown in Fig b.

     

Note

• When the robot is being charged, the LED panel will gradually show 11:11, from left to right.
• Once charging is complete, the LED panel will show FULL.
• In the standby status, the robot will broadcast the voice "please charge" when battery power is low, and the LED panel will show .
• In the working status, the robot will return to the charging station automatically when battery power is low and the LED panel will show .

For extending battery life

• Before first use, charge the robot for 12 hours.
• Charge the robot as soon as battery power is low.
• The robot will return to the charging station automatically when it accomplishes cleaning or battery power is low.
• If the robot is not to be used for a long time, fully charge the battery before use, turn the power off, remove and store it in a cool, dry place.
• If the robot is not to be used for more than 3 months, charge the robot for 12 hours, turn the power off, remove and store it in a cool, dry place.

Starting Up / Standby / Sleep / Power Off

Starting up

• Keep pressing the power switch at the right side of the robot for more than 3 seconds.
• In standby mode, press on the main body or ON/OFF on the remote control to start cleaning.

Note: If the robot is in sleep mode, press on the main body or ON/OFF on the remote control to wake up the robot from sleep mode, then press it again, the robot will start cleaning automatically.

Standby

Standby means the robot has its power switched on and is waiting for the user’s operation. It can be changed to standby mode by one of the following methods:

• During robot cleaning, press on the main body to enter standby mode.
• During robot cleaning, press the ON/OFF on the remote control to power off the robot.

Sleep

In sleep mode, the robot can only be woken up from on the main body or ON/OFF on the remote control. In order to save power, you can turn the robot into sleep mode from standby mode via either of the following methods:

• Press on the main body and hold it for 3 seconds.
• The robot will automatically enter sleep mode if no command is received for more than 60 seconds.

Power off

• Power off means the robot has its power switched off, it can be entered by either of the following methods:
  • In standby mode, press the power switch and hold it for more than 3 seconds.
  • In sleep mode, the robot will automatically power off if there is no operation within 5 minutes.

Scheduling

You can schedule the robot and set it to start cleaning automatically at a certain time every day.

How to schedule the robot

Note: The robot can only be set when it’s in standby mode or charging mode. If the robot is in sleep mode, press on the main body or ON/OFF on the remote control to wake it up. If the robot is in cleaning mode, stop it before scheduling.

Scheduling by the LED panel on the robot

Setting robot clock (keep the robot in standby mode or power switched on)

1. Press to enter time checking mode, the LED panel will show the current system time, will light on.
2. Press  to enter the hour-setting mode, the left two numbers on the LED panel will flash, press to decrease the hour or to increase it.
3. Press to enter the minute-setting mode, the right two numbers on the LED panel will flash, press to decrease the minute or to increase it.
4. Press to enter the weekly-setting mode, the weekly scheduling indicator will flash, press to decrease it or to increase it.
5. Press to confirm the setting and revert to time checking mode, (during setting, the current setting won’t be saved if was pressed to quit).

Check scheduling setting

Press to enter scheduling checking in standby mode, will light on, the LED panel will show the scheduling time of Sunday, press to show the scheduling time of the next day, press to show the scheduling time of the previous day.

Setting scheduling time (keep the robot in standby mode or power switched on)

• Press to modify the scheduling mode and enter the hour-setting in scheduling checking mode, the left two numbers on the LED panel will flash, press to decrease the hour or to increase it.
• Press to enter the minute-setting mode, the right two numbers on the LED panel will flash, press to decrease the minute or to increase it.
• Press , the weekly scheduling indicator will flash, press or to select a separate day, Monday to Friday, and daily scheduling.
• Press to confirm the setting and revert to scheduling checking mode, (during setting, the current scheduling setting won’t be saved if was pressed to quit).

Cancel scheduling

• Set the scheduling time to 00:00 in scheduling mode.

One key to set the scheduling or cancel it

• Press and hold it for more than 2 seconds to set the current time of the robot to daily scheduling time in standby mode.
• Press and hold it for more than 2 seconds to quit all scheduling time in scheduling checking mode.

Note

• Before scheduling, please set the robot time to be the same as the real time.
• The robot will start cleaning at the scheduled time of the Robot Clock every day. If the power switch is turned off, the robot needs to be reset.

Scheduling by remote control (note: setting by remote control will work every day)

Setting scheduling time

• In standby or charging status, keep pressing the PLAN button on the remote control for seconds to enter scheduling mode.
• The numbers on the LCD display of the remote control will flash, press the UP or DOWN button to set the number, after setting one number, press the LEFT or RIGHT button to set another one you wanted.
• Once set, point the remote control towards the robot, then press ON/OFF on the remote control, after successfully scheduled, the LED panel of the robot will show the exact scheduled time.

Note: The scheduling time setting by remote control is counted by delayed, e.g., the current time of the robot is 08:00, if the scheduling time is 01:00, after successfully scheduled, the robot will start cleaning one hour later. That is to say, the robot will start cleaning at 09:00, and will start cleaning at 09:00 every day.

Cancel scheduling

Press ON/OFF on the remote control in scheduling mode. (If the LED panel of the robot shows 00:00, it means the scheduling has been successfully canceled, otherwise, please press ON/OFF again.)

Suction kit and Roller brush kit are exchangeable

Suction kit and roller brush kit are exchangeable and installed in an appropriate place at the bottom (as shown in the below figure), you just need to gently press the button, and the robot will bring you unprecedented cleaning.

Cleaning Modes

1. Auto Cleaning
   In this mode, the robot will clean a room automatically and adjust its cleaning behavior based on specific situations.
2. Spot Cleaning
   In this mode, the robot will center on the starting point, then rotate externally, which is suitable for cleaning in an open area.
3. Edge Cleaning
   In this mode, the robot will clean along the wall or the legs of furniture.

4. Zig-Zag Cleaning
   The robot will automatically go into Zig-Zag cleaning when it detects it’s in an open area or an environment with fewer obstacles. This will be more efficient and can avoid repeated cleaning.

   

Note:
Press the MODE button on the remote control to select the cleaning mode:

• Mode No. 1111 shows on the robot LED display: auto cleaning mode;
• Mode No. 2222 shows on the robot LED display: spiral cleaning mode;
• Mode No. 3333 shows on the robot LED display: edge cleaning mode;
• Mode No. 4444 shows on the robot LED display: Zig-zag cleaning mode.

Water Tank and its Mopping Cloth Usage

1. Attach Mopping Cloth
   Stick the mopping cloth on the bottom of the water tank as shown in fig 1. Make sure the sticking side and mopping cloth are facing the appropriate sides, and then stick the mopping cloth on its sticking side.
2. Fill Water Tank with Water
   Take out the rubber plug of the water tank, fill it with water, and then put back the rubber plug tightly in its position in case of water leakage.

3. Fit Water Tank on the Robot
   Turn over the robot, and fix the water tank on the robot bottom. Make sure the bolts are firmly pressed into the fixing slots.

   

Note:

• If using the water tank kit during cleaning, please check that the water tank and its mopping cloth are used according to the above instruction. Pay attention to well stick the mopping cloth, and avoid friction between the cloth and the robot wheel.
• The water tank kit can only be used on a flat floor without any sharp object.
• Please don’t clean the carpet, wooden floor, or dry-only area with the cleaner with the water tank.
• Please turn off the UV light if using the water tank kit during cleaning.

Setup Guide

To set up the Rollibot Genius Vacuum Cleaner BL800, follow these steps:

1. Charge the BL800 for at least 4 hours before using it for the first time.
2. Install the Rollibot app on your smartphone and create an account.
3. Connect the BL800 to your Wi-Fi network using the app.
4. Place the BL800 on its charging dock when not in use.
5. Use the app to schedule cleanings and customize settings.

Product Maintenance

Cleaning Side Brushes
Check the side brush when it gets dirty and replace it if it’s damaged. Max life span for the side brush is 12 months.

Note:
Before replacing side brushes, check and make ‘L’/ ‘R’ marks on the side brush match with the ‘L’/ ‘R’ marks on the bottom base of the robot.

Cleaning Dust Bin and Filters
Empty and clean the dust bin after each use following the steps as shown in the figures below:

Note:

• Wash the HEPA filter after 15~30 days of use. The max life span for HEPA and filter is 24 months.
• Reinstall the HEPA and primary filter after they’re fully dry.
• HEPA and primary filters could be replaced if needed.
• Do not dry the filters under baking sunshine.

Cleaning Sensors and Wheels
Slightly wipe all the sensors and wheels, as marked in the figure below, with a soft cleaning cloth or tool.

Cleaning Charging Poles
Clean the charging poles, as marked in the figure below, with a soft cleaning cloth or tool.

Cleaning Suction Passage and Dust Sensor
Take out the suction kit from the robot, then clean the suction passage and dust sensor, as marked in the figure below, with a soft cleaning cloth or tool.

Note:
Avoid allowing the sensors to get wet.

Cleaning Roller Brush Kit
Take out the roller brush kit from the robot, remove the roller brush, then clean it and its cover plate, as shown in the figure below, with a soft cleaning cloth or tool. (The roller brush can be washed with water)

Note: Please reinstall the roller brush in the original order of disassembly after it’s fully dry.

Battery Removal

1. Remove the screws on the battery cover with a screwdriver.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Grasp the insulating tape on two sides of the battery and lift the battery.
4. Unplug the wire connector that links the battery and robot.

Note: Only use the original battery of the product, otherwise it may cause product damage.

Mobile APP Quick Start

RolliBot Genius Mobile APP is available on iOS and Android.

1. Go to Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), search “RolliBot”, download and install.
2. Run the app and signup for an account for the first time.
3. Please make sure your phone is connected to the current WIFI.
4. Hold the “HOME” button on the RolliBot until you hear a Chime.
5. RolliBot should have “CONN” displayed, and Click the “Search RolliBot” button.
6. Enjoy your app.

16. Turn off the power switch during product transportation or when you don’t need to use this product for a long time.
17. Before charging, check whether the adaptor and outlet are properly connected.

19. When the dust bin is full, empty it before use.
20. Use this product in temperatures from 0℃ to 40℃.
21. Do not use this product in high-temperature environments or under baking sunlight for a long time.
22. The battery must be removed from the product before it’s scrapped.

2. X is the number or letter that might appear on the display for different faults.
3. If the robot displays E001 or E004, please directly find the relative solution referred to in troubleshooting.

5. Likewise, if the robot displays EE91, please find EXX1, EEXX, and EX9X for the relative solution referred to in troubleshooting.
