OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
COFFEE MAKER
Note: Before initial use, clean glass carafe, filter cone, and reusable filter thoroughly with lukewarm water and mild detergent. Clean the water tank by wiping the interior with a clean cloth. Then fill 1 ~ 2 cups of clean water and with the glass carafe in place, turn on the Coffee switch and allow water to cycle through. Discard water.
Open the water tank lid and fill with clean water to the required level.
Add ground coffee or tea into the reusable filter.
Place the reusable filter into filter cone and insert cone in place.
Place coffee carafe on the hot plate.
Switch on the coffee maker switch, the indicator light should light up.
Note
To close the filter cone, swing the cone clockwise, lift up a little, and gently push inward. This will lock the cone in place. To open, lift up and pull counter-clockwise.
To keep coffee/tea warm, keep the glass carafe on the hot plate.
Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing process.
If ground coffee or tea leaves are to be added during operation, first switch off the power and switch back on after adding.
If there is no water in the water tank, switch off the power before adding water.
