Guarantee conditions
Statement and assurance of the Guarantor
The Guarantor hereby declares and guarantees to the Holder of the Guarantee that the Goods sold by it, referred to as the Subject of the Agreement,, were produced correctly, in accordance with the Agreement and technical specification, and in accordance with the Guarantor’s best knowledge and currently applicable rules of technical knowledge, construction art,, and applicable law. Through this Guarantee, the Guarantor assumes liability for defects in the Product resulting from a gross violation by the Guarantor of any of the Guarantor’s obligations set out below.
The liability of the Guarantor resulting from the Guarantee
- The Guarantor shall be liable to the Holder of the Guarantee for any defects of the Goods that will come to light after the date of sale of the subject of the agreement by the Buyer (by the Eligible Person) - until the expiry of the period resulting from this Guarantee, subject to point 5 of this section and provided correct and intended use. The warranty covers only defects resulting from the inadequate quality of the material (worse than the information), improper production technology, and improper assembly as a whole.
- The liability of the Guarantor for defects in the Goods includes both defects of the Goods, which were revealed after the date of sale of the subject of the contract by the Buyer (the Guarantor), but their rise was proved by the Holder of the Guarantee before that date, as well as those defects that arose after the sale of the item contract, but for which the Guarantor is solely responsible.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by the Buyer, third party,, or force majeure. It also does not cover damage caused by modifications and/or replacement of parts outside the professional service. These actions also result in the loss of the guarantee (these activities should be described in the warranty book).
- The liability of the Guarantor arising from the Guarantee includes the obligation to remove defects in the Goods, which will be notified to the Guarantor by the end of the period resulting from the Guarantee. In the event of non-removal of defects of the Goods on a date agreed jointly by the parties or when defects are impossible to remove, the Eligible Person will have the right to an appropriate reduction in the sale price of the Goods in accordance with the provisions of the Polish Civil Code.
- The Guarantor is released from liability under the guarantee if the Entitled Person from the Guarantee does not perform the following actions at his own expense:
- Periodic inspection should be performed at the latest by 3/9/12/18/21 months from the date of purchase.
- The Guarantor is released from liability for defects and faults of any devices, subassemblies, paints, etc. that have been used or used to perform the contract, if these elements have been covered by a separate manufacturer’s guarantee. In addition, the Guarantee does not cover natural, operational wear of individual elements or their adjustment during use, in particular:
- Damage or wear of tires
- Damage to rims
- Adjusting the brakes
- Wear of brake pads
- Moisture and dirt, for example,, with battery mud
- Exploitation of the Good (in particular batteries) at low (i.e.,, below 0 degrees) temperatures.
- Damage resulting from a lack of due diligence regarding the maintenance of metal and chromium parts
- Tearing or wiping the seat cover
- Damage to the shock absorber
- Breach of the frame geometry
- Any engine damage due to the lack of oil caused by the fault of the user is not subject to warranty repair.
- Any damage to the equipment resulting from the fault of the user, including that related to the ignorance of the operating instructions, is not subject to warranty repair. All unauthorized repairs and modifications of the equipment are prohibited, causing the warranty to be lost.
- In case of batteries, care should be taken first of all to following issues:
- When using for the first time or if it has not been used for a long time, the battery should be charged to the maximum; the exhausted battery should be charged within 24 hours.
If the scooter will not be used for a long time, the battery should be charged to the maximum and left in a dry and warm place. The minimum storage temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius. - If the scooter is not used, the battery should be recharged once a month.
- When using for the first time or if it has not been used for a long time, the battery should be charged to the maximum; the exhausted battery should be charged within 24 hours.
- The warranty does not cover:
a. Battery damage caused by irregular or a lack of recharge.
b. Mechanical and thermal damages and defects caused by them.
c. Unauthorized repairs and alterations.
d. Batteries in which the top cover has been removed or damaged.
e. Battery installation, which is incompatible with the instructions.
f. Battery damage resulting from negligence of the electrical system’s technical state.
g. Discharges of the battery in which the resting voltage is below 8V.
h. Batteries used in the vehicle with a capacity and starting current not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
i. Use of a battery that is not in accordance with the intended use and recommendations of the manufacturer.
j. Damage caused as a result of neglecting the technical condition of the vehicle.
k. Damage resulting from the use of parts other than the original offered by Veleco.
The term of the Guarantee
The liability of the Guarantor under this Guarantee begins on the day of sale of the Subject of the Contract and ends after, in the case of:
- Scooter - 12 months
- Battery - 6 months
Complaint procedure
- The Holder of the Guarantee is obliged to notify the Guarantor about the noticed defect of the Product, which defect became apparent after the sale of the subject of the contract, not later than within 3 working days from the date of the notice. The documents allowing the beginning of the complaint procedure are the original proof of purchase and the correctly completed warranty card. The completed vehicle should be delivered to the service point. Complaints will not be considered when an incomplete vehicle is delivered to the service.
- Claims under the Guarantee should be submitted to the place where the vehicle was purchased, and the information should be in writing and contain a list of perceived defects associated with the product.
- Consideration of the complaint will take place within 14 business days of reporting the defect in the service, while the repair will be performed within the time agreed with the client.
- Issues not included in this card are regulated by the relevant provisions of the Civil Code.

Maintenance
The life of the scooter depends on its use, storage, regular maintenance, servicing and cleaning. Before each drive:
- Check and clean tires. Replace the tire if necessary.
- Check the tire pressure and inflate it if necessary (applies only to inflated tires).

- Check that all screws are tight well.
- Check the battery level after switching on the engine.

- The plugs and sockets must be protected against corrosion.
- Store batteries only in dry and well-ventilated rooms at temperatures between + 5 ° C and + 40 ° C.
