The system is designed for thorough hair rinsing, scalp stimulation, facial care, and comfortable full-body showering.
The HairWand Shower System is especially useful for people who want targeted water flow while shampooing, rinsing hair, relaxing tense muscles, or cleaning hard-to-reach areas.

Detailed Description
The HairWand is a handheld shower head with a mode selector at the base of its handle. Rotate the selector to choose the spray that best suits the task. PowerComb directs a concentrated water-comb stream toward the hair roots for a thorough rinse. Pulse Comb uses a dual pulsating stream to massage the scalp and refresh the body.
SoftComb produces a broad, enveloping stream intended for relaxation, while Gentle Rinse provides a mild spray for the face and body. These modes make the HairWand Shower System adaptable for everyday bathing, shampoo removal, and targeted rinsing.
The fixed-mount shower head has its own spray selector on the outer trim ring. Move the lever left or right to change its spray pattern. The three-way diverter controls which shower head receives water. The Easy Reach bracket holds the HairWand when it is not being used, and the bracket can pivot to change the wand’s spray angle.
Safety
- Set the household water heater to 120°F (48.9°C) or lower to reduce scalding risk and conserve energy.
- Test the bath or shower water with your hand before entering.
- For Ecoflow or high-efficiency shower heads, a pressure-balancing tub and shower valve with correctly adjusted rotational limit stops is recommended. A qualified plumber should perform this work.
- Use the shower system externally only.
- Some tap water or untreated well water may contain the potentially fatal amoeba Naegleria fowleri. Avoid allowing untreated water to enter the nose.
- Stop using the product immediately if it malfunctions or becomes damaged.
Setup and Installation
Before Installation
- Prepare a soft cloth and an adjustable wrench. These tools are not included.
- Remove the existing shower head and all old pipe tape.
- Inspect inside the shower pipe for a washer left from the previous shower head. Use a thin tool, such as a pencil or screwdriver, rather than your fingers.
Installation Steps
- Remove the old shower head and clean the exposed pipe threads.
- Thread the three-way diverter nut clockwise onto the shower pipe. Position the Easy Reach bracket holder on the right side of the diverter.
- Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the diverter securely. If pliers are used, protect the nut with a cloth.
- Attach the fixed-mount shower head by threading its pivot ball onto the diverter. Tighten it carefully without over-tightening.
- Connect one end of the hose to the threaded outlet at the bottom of the diverter. Confirm that the black washer is inside the hose connection before tightening.
- Connect the other hose end to the HairWand and tighten the connection by hand.
- Place the HairWand in the Easy Reach bracket.
- Point both shower heads away from your body, turn the water on fully, and inspect every connection for leaks.
- Hand-tighten or carefully retighten any leaking connection as needed.
Vacuum Breaker and Backflow Prevention
Some plumbing codes require a vacuum breaker when a handheld shower is installed. If the hose includes a vacuum breaker, connect the end marked for the shower bracket to the bracket connection. Installing the hose in the wrong direction can prevent water from flowing.
Operation
Choosing the Water Source
Turn the three-way diverter control clockwise or counterclockwise to select the HairWand, the fixed-mount shower head, or both simultaneously.
Using the HairWand
- PowerComb: Directs a focused stream toward the roots for an effective hair rinse.
- Pulse Comb: Uses a pulsating dual-nozzle stream for scalp massage and body stimulation.
- SoftComb: Provides a wide, comfortable stream for relaxation.
- Gentle Rinse: Produces a softer spray for facial and body rinsing.
Rotate the selector at the base of the HairWand handle to change modes. Place the wand in the bracket when a hands-free spray angle is preferred, then pivot the bracket forward or backward for positioning.
Using the Fixed Shower Head
Move the lever on the outer trim ring of the fixed-mount shower head to select its spray pattern. Adjust the lever gradually until the desired water coverage is reached.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Mineral deposits can restrict the spray openings and reduce water pressure. Clean the nozzles when deposits become visible or when spray patterns begin to weaken.
- Rub the spray nozzles gently with your fingers to loosen mineral buildup.
- For heavier deposits, remove the shower head and place it face down in 1 to 2 cups of white vinegar for approximately 2 to 3 hours.
- Reinstall the shower head and run water through every mode to flush out the vinegar.
- Remove the filter screen by unscrewing it from the shower arm.
- Rinse the diverter inlet and clean the screen.
- Reinstall the filter screen and repeat the installation procedure to secure the shower components.
Do not use harsh chemicals, heavy-duty cleaners, or abrasive materials. These substances can damage the finish and components and may void the warranty.
Troubleshooting
No Water Flow
- Check that the old shower washer is not lodged in the shower pipe or diverter.
- Inspect both ends of the hose for blockages.
- If a vacuum breaker is included, verify that the hose end is connected to the correct bracket location.
Low Pressure or Missing Spray Modes
- Clean the shower head with white vinegar as described in the maintenance procedure.
- Remove and rinse the filter screen.
Leak at the Fixed-Mount Connection
Verify that the washer is correctly positioned inside the pivot ball connection.
Leak at the Shower Pipe and Diverter
Check that the seal is fully seated inside the diverter connector.
Loose Fixed-Mount Shower Head
Tighten the pivot ball nut carefully. Avoid excessive force that could damage the fitting.
