Assembly
Caution!

- Place the wheels on the axis and tighten them with the included pads and the M5×12 screws.
- Mount the wheel covers to the wheels and ensure that the wheel axis is covering the ends. To place them a hammer can be used.
- Connect the centre bar to the bottom bar construction, then attach it with M6×45 screws.
- Push the controller of the cable puller into the upper part of the bar construction.
- Via the included M6×45 screws, as well as the wing nuts, the upper part bar construction can be connected to the centre piece.
- Connect the handle with the upper piece of the rod via the ST4×20 screws.
- Use the two included cable clamps to attach the cable to the rods.
Tiller Commissioning
Before starting
- Before every use, check the tiller visually: The tiller must not show any signs of damage.
- Thoroughly check the entire surface that needs to be processed and remove any foreign objects (stones, twigs, etc.).
- Before connecting the device to the mains electricity, make sure that the voltage of 230 V/50 Hz is not exceeded.
- Ensure that the tines are not touching any foreign objects and have enough space to move freely before turning the device on.
CAUTION! As soon as the motor is started, the blades will start to rotate.
WARNING! The blades will continue rotating for a few seconds after turning the motor off.
NOTE! Before turning the device on, make sure that the device is not touching any other objects and is held tightly with both hands.
Starting the motor
- Connect the plug of the tiller to an extension cable. Connect the cable to the cable clamps, so that there is enough cable left to operate the device with an adequate length of cable.
- To protect the tiller from switching on accidentally, it is equipped with a safety switch which needs to be activated before the shift lever can be activated. Activate the safety switch (locking button (2)).
- Stand behind the device and pull the safety lever. Continue holding it. When the motor starts, the safety switch can be released.
- The blades will start rotating and will dig into the earth.
- If required, activate the safety switch to stop the motor and the blades.
