Description

The Etekcity Digital Luggage Scale EL19 is a lightweight and compact device that can easily fit in your luggage or purse. The LCD screen displays the weight in both pounds and kilograms, and it has a tare function that can subtract the weight of the luggage carrier. The EL19 is powered by a long-lasting LR44 button cell battery, which is already included in the package. Before First Use

1. Open the battery cover. If necessary, use a tool to open.
2. Remove the insulation strip from the battery. [Figure 1.1]
3. When replacing the battery, make sure the + side of the battery is facing up. [Figure 1.2]

4. Replace the battery cover.

   

General Operation

Weight Measurement

1. Press the POWER button to turn on the scale. Wait for “000” to appear on the display.

   

2. Wrap the belt around the handle of your luggage and place the hook on the bottom of the triangle ring.
3. Lift the luggage with the scale and hold still until the weight measurement stabilizes. The display will show the weight and “H” (Data Hold).
   • Note: Do not move the scale during measurement.
4. To measure another item, remove the luggage and repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds to turn the scale off.

Data Hold Function

Once the weight has stabilized and “H” appears on the display, the weight will stay on the screen for 60 seconds, or until you measure another object. You can also press to reset POWER button the display.

Unit Conversion

1. Press the POWER button to turn the scale on.
2. Before the display reads “000”, press the POWER button repeatedly to switch between grams (g), pounds (lb), ounces (oz), and kilograms (kg).

Tare Function

You can use the Tare function to weigh an object inside a container by subtracting the weight of the container from the total weight.

1. Press the POWER button to turn on the scale. Make sure the display reads “000”.
2. Wrap the belt around the handle of the container and place the hook on the bottom of the triangle ring. Allow the weight to stabilize until “H” appears on the display.
3. Hold the scale stable and press to tare. The display will show “T”.
4. Place the item you want to weigh inside the container. The scale will measure the contents without including the weight of the container.

Setup Guide

To operate the Etekcity Digital Luggage Scale EL19, follow these steps:

1. Insert the LR44 button cell battery in the compartment located at the back of the scale.
2. Turn on the scale by sliding the power button to the "on" position.
3. Attach the hook to the handle or strap of your luggage.
4. Lift the luggage and wait for the scale to stabilize.
5. Read the weight on the LCD screen and record it for reference.

Care & Maintenance

• Do not immerse the scale in water or use chemical detergents to clean the scale.
• Use a damp cloth to wipe the scale clean.
• Do not place stress on the triangle ring when not using the scale.

Replacing the Batteries

When the display reads “LO”, battery power is low. Replace the battery.

1. Turn the scale over and open the battery compartment.
2. Remove the used battery and replace it with 1 new 3V CR2032 battery. Make sure the + side of the battery is facing up.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
