ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER
WARNING
Care must be taken when folding or unfolding the stroller to prevent injury in hinge areas.
To protect flooring, place a protective covering (cardboard, towel, small rug,, or blanket) beneath the stroller during assembly.
Unlatch side frame lock A. Continue holding the lock open while unfolding the stroller.
Grab the parent’s handle B near the top of the canopy and pull upward until the stroller opens fully with an audible click. Make sure the stroller is locked in the open position.Attach the storage basket C to the frame by inserting the storage basket tube D into the opening in the stroller frame E. Make sure the storage basket locks into place with an audible click. Repeat on the other side.
For ease of removal and assembly of the clevis pin, use needle nose pliers.
To assemble the rear wheels to the axle, remove clevis pin G and one washer H from the axle, leaving one washer and rear hub J on the axle.
With the spokes facing out, slide a wheel I onto the axle. Slide on a second washer H.
Insert the straight side of the clevis pin through the hole in the axle. Snap hub cap F onto the wheel.
Pull on the wheel to make sure it is locked securely. Repeat steps to attach the other rear wheel.Turn the stroller upside down, as shown, so the rear of the stroller is facing upwards.
Hold the rear wheel/axle assembly K so the brake levers L face toward the parent’s handle.
Slide the rear wheel/axle assembly onto the stroller frame M until each side locks into place with audible clicks.
Pull upward on the rear wheel/axle assembly to make sure it is locked securely.Turn the stroller so the front of the stroller is facing upwards, as shown.
Slide a front wheel assembly D into the front frame leg E until it locks into place with an audible click. Pull downward on the front wheel assembly to make sure it is locked securely. Repeat for the other side.
Turn the stroller right side up onto its wheels.Install the child’s tray P onto the tray mounts Q. Make sure the tray locks into position with audible clicks. Pull on the child’s tray to make sure it is locked into place.
To install the canopy R, stand behind the stroller and slide each end of the canopy S onto the canopy mount T located on the stroller frame. Make sure each end of the canopy slides onto the mounts completely.
USING YOUR STROLLER
Step on the rear brake lever A to lock the rear wheels on the stroller.
To release the brakes, lift up on the brake levers.To keep the front wheel from swiveling, lift tab B on front wheel assembly C. Push the tab down to allow the front wheel to swivel.
NOTE: The locked position is recommended for travel over uneven surfaces.To open the child’s tray D, push a locking tab E on either side of the tray.
Note: You can open the tray from either side.
To remove the tray D, push both tabs and remove the tray from the stroller.WARNING
To avoid serious injury from the child falling out of the stroller, DO NOT raise or recline the seat with the child in a stroller.
To recline the seat, squeeze adjuster L and pull down the recline strap on the rear of the seat.
To raise the seat, hold the D-ring M on the strap, then slide the adjuster toward the seat.- WARNING
To avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out,
ALWAYS use waist restraint.
Note: Verify the stroller is locked in the open position by lifting up the rear of the stroller using the parent’s handle.
Lock the rear brakes and pivot the child’s tray out of the way.- 5-point Harness:
With the 5-point harness, the harness shoulder strap G must start at shoulder height or lower, as shown, and use the harness strap loops H closest to the baby’s shoulders. To adjust the height of the harness shoulder straps to the baby’s shoulder height, do the following:- Remove each harness shoulder strap G from each buckle I, as shown.
- Thread each harness shoulder strap G under the harness strap loop H that is closest to the baby’s shoulder.
Reattach each harness shoulder strap G to each buckle I.
5-point and 3-point Harnesses:
Place the baby in the seat and bring the crotch panel J up between the child’s legs. Fasten each buckle I. For a snug, comfortable fit, pull the shoulder straps G to tighten the shoulder restraint (shoulder restraint only for 5-point harness) and pull the waist restraint straps K to tighten the waist restraint.
Note: To loosen the waist straps K, push in the release button L on the buckle and pull.
Once the child is properly restrained, close and lock the child’s tray. Make sure the tray locks into position with audible clicks. Pull on the child’s tray to make sure it is locked into place.
To change from 5-point to a 3-point harness:
Remove each harness shoulder strap G from each buckle I, as shown above.
- 5-point Harness:
Pull canopy hoop M forward to extend the canopy. Push the canopy toward the parent’s handle to close.
WARNING

USING YOUR STROLLER WITH THE SAFEMAX AND LITEMAX INFANT CAR SEAT
WARNING
- Only use the Evenflo SafeMax and LiteMax infant car seats with this stroller.
Other infant car seats or carriers are not designed to fit the stroller frame and if used with this stroller may result in serious injury to your child. - Before using the SafeMax or LiteMax infant car seat with this stroller, read all the instructions provided with it and keep the instructions stored properly for future use.
- DO NOT lift the stroller by using the SafeMax or LiteMax infant car seat handle when installed on the stroller.
- If unable to securely attach SafeMax or LiteMax infant car seat to this stroller, remove the car seat and contact Evenflo ParentLink at 1-800-233-5921 (USA), 1-937-773-3971 (Canada), or 01-800-706-12-00 (Mexico).
- To avoid serious injury, make sure the SafeMax or LiteMax infant car seat is securely snapped onto the car seat mounts.
- Some SafeMax and LiteMax infant car seats have a blanket/boot option that must be removed for proper attachment to this stroller.
- Fully recline the stroller seat back.
- Make sure the child tray is securely latched.

Lower the infant car seat into the stroller and push down on the handle. The infant car seat will click when fully locked into place. Pull up on the front and back of the SafeMax or LiteMax infant car seat to ensure that it is properly locked into place.
