Evenflo Portable BabySuite Assembly

IMPORTANT: Make sure you ALWAYS install the feet and wheel assemblies BEFORE setting up the playard.

1. Remove feet and wheel assemblies from plastic bag. Discard bag.

   

   Slide two wheel assemblies  onto both wheel bases O, as shown, until they snap into place with an audible click.
   Install two feet onto both foot bases, as shown, until they snap into place with an audible click.

2. Remove the playard from the carry bag. Unhook the two Velcro tabs e to remove the mattress pad.

   

3. Separate the corners to open the playard.

   

   Note: Do not push center of the playard floor down yet.

4. WARNING: To prevent injury or death, DO NOT allow child in product with SIDES DOWN. ALWAYS make sure sides are raised and all four rails are fully and securely locked by firmly pushing down on the center of each rail. Lift up both long top rails until they securely lock into place.

   

   Note: The floor must stay up, as shown, so the rails will lock properly. If the rails do not lock into place, pull up on the strap handle, draw the feet together, and try to lock the rails again. 
   Lift up both short top rails until they securely lock into place.

   

5. Push down on the center of the floor until it locks into a flat position.

   

6. IMPORTANT: NEVER use the playard without the mattress pad securely installed on either the playard floor or in the bassinet. Place mattress pad on the floor of the playard, cushion side up. Insert the six mattress straps  through the slots in the floor of the playard and fasten them to the Velcro tabs on the underside of the playard floor. Make sure all six straps are properly secured to the playard and the Velcro tabs are facing downward, securing the pad to the playard floor.

   

Note: The mattress pad must always be used with the cushion side up.

SETTING UP THE BASSINET

IMPORTANT: NEVER use the playard without the mattress pad securely installed on either the playard floor or in the bassinet.

• WARNING
  To prevent injury or death, NEVER set up the bassinet with the child in the playard. ALWAYS remove the child from the playard before installing the bassinet.
  Place the bassinet into the playard with the tube assemblies on top, as shown.
  Make sure all four hooks are securely attached to the rails, as shown.

  

• Fasten the bassinet to the playard using the zipper on each side of the bassinet. Cover each zipper tab with its flap O, as shown.

  

USING THE CONVERTIBLE PLAYMAT

1. Install the changer to the playard by placing each hook securely onto each corner post, as shown.

   

2. WARNING
   FALL HAZARD: To prevent death or serious injury, NEVER leave child unattended. ALWAYS keep child within arm's reach.
   NEVER leave changing table in place when child is in the playard. To avoid serious injury or death, ALWAYS remove the changer from the playard after each use.
   Fasten both snaps O on the flap to the playard B.

   • Fasten the security strap on each side of the changer 0.

   • Remove child from changer change o then sungach over the end of the playard, as shown.

Insert the two Velcro straps through the openings in the playard or carrying bag, fold over, and fasten the Velcro straps.

ATTACHING THE TOY BAR

• Possible entanglement injury. Keep out of baby's reach. Remove toy bar trom playard when baby begins to push up on hands and knees. 
• Recommended for babies from birth to five months of age. This toy bar is intended for visual stimulation and is not intended to be grasped by the baby.
• Use ONLY toys that are supplied with toy bar. DO NOT add toys to the toy bar that are not supplied by nor intended for use on toy bar by manufacturer.
• ALWAYS securely attach toys to the toy bar if there is Velcro on it. Check toy bar, toys, and connections frequently.
• DO NOT add additional strings, straps, or other components to the playard or toy bar.
• DO NOT use toy bar if it is damaged, broken, or missing parts.

If Velcro is on the toy bar A, attach the toys B to it, as shown. Securely clip the toy bar A onto each side of the playard, as shown. Make sure the toy bar is attached securely by giving it a firm tug.

FOLDING UP THE PLAYARD

1. Gather the sides of the playard together.

   

   
   Note: If the sides do not easily fold up, repeat steps 1 and 2, making sure all hinges are unlocked.

2. To disassemble the bassinet O, disconnect the tubes , as shown.

   

   Note: The tubes cannot be removed from the bassinet.

3. Remove toy bar, if necessary, and the mattress pad and/or bassinet.

   

   Lift up on the strap handle  attached to the center of the floor until the feet  are drawn together.

4. Find the center of one of the top rails O. Lift up and squeeze hard on the fold lock release button inside the padded rail to release the lock.

   

   Make sure that both sides of the rail unlock properly, then push the rail downward and fold completely. Repeat for the remaining three top rails.
   Note: If the top rail will not fold completely, lift up on the strap handle attached to the center of the floor and try again.

5. Place the mattress pad on the floor, cushion side up. 

   

6. Place the folded playard on the mattress pad, as shown. Then place the bassinet assembly on top of the folded playard, followed by the changer and toy bar assemblies, ring 0, fold over, and fasten. Repeat for the other "D" ring.

   

7. Place the playard and accessories in the carry bag.
   Soft console can be attached to carry bag to store and transport baby care supplies. See page 7 for attaching the soft console to the carry bag.

• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
• Adult assembly required. Take care when unpacking and assembling; contains small parts and some items with sharp edges.
• To prevent a possible choking hazard, remove and discard packing material before using this product.
• To avoid injury, the playard must be erected and fully assembled prior to use. Top rails must be locked in the upright position, and the mattress pad must be used.
• DO NOT attach additional items to the playard that are not approved by Evenflo. Items not tested with this playard could injure the child.
• Child can become entrapped and die when improvised netting or covers are placed on top of product. NEVER add such items to confine child in product.
• When using Evenflo approved optional attachments, make sure all clips and snaps are securely fastened.
• Use only for a child who is unable to climb out of the playard and who is less than 35 inches (89 cm) tall and weighs 30 lbs (13.6 kg) or less. Discontinue use of the playard when the child is able to climb out or reaches the height of 35 inches (89 cm) or weight of 30 lbs (13.6 kg).
• When child is able to pull up to a standing position, remove bumper pads, large toys, and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out.
• DO NOT use with more than one child at a time.

TO CLEAN FABRIC AND VINYL

• Clean spills and stains on cloth, vinyl, or plastic surfaces with cold water and mild soap. Air dry.
• DO NOT machine wash or tumble dry accessories with plastic backing or vinyl coverings. These parts may be damaged by detergents and heat.
• The storage bag may be machine washed. Machine wash separately in cold water, delicate cycle. NO chlorine bleach. Air dry.

TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN FRAME
