USING THE K-CUP MANUAL COFFEE PRESS
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Carefully unpack the appliance and all parts. Remove any tape, labels or packaging material.
- Wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
DO NOT PLACE IN THE DISHWASHER.
BREWING COFFEE USING A K-Cup CAPSULE
Place base on a dry, level and heat-resistant surface and heat water to just below boil-ing temperature (about 200°F).
DO NOT POUR BOILING WATER INTO THE RESERVOIR.
MANUFACTURER'S TIPS
- The plunger can also be used as a storage compartment for up to 3 K-Cup capsules.
- Different brands of capsules will affect the length of time and pressure needed to brew your coffee.
- Adjust the flavor of your coffee by applying different pressure and length of time to complete your coffee.
USING THE K-CUP MANUAL COFFEE PRESS
- Place a cup in the base large enough to hold the desired amount of coffee and insert a K-Cup capsule into the capsule holder.
NOTE: Never remove or puncture the foil top of the K-Cup capsule before inserting into the holder. - Place the water reservoir in the base and press down firmly to pierce the K-Cup capsule.
- Pour hot water into the water reservoir to your desired coffee level: 6, 8 or 10 oz.
- Place the plunger into the water reservoir and use firm, even pressure for 20-30 seconds until water is pushed through completely. Do not push too fast to avoid splattering water and possibly causing burns.
- Wait a few seconds for coffee to complete dripping and enjoy
NOTE: DO NOT PULL OUT PLUNGER WITH WATER STILL IN THE RESERVOIR.

- Scorching and Burns: Refrain from touching hot surfaces or water content while the device is in use. Instead, use handles or knobs as needed.

CAUTION: There are two sharp needles that puncture the K-Cup capsule. One is located in the bottom of the water reservoir and the other is in the bottom of the K-Cup capsule holder itself. To avoid risk of injury, do not put your fingers in or near the K-Cup capsule assembly housing.
WARNING: DO NOT USE REUSABLE K-Cup FILTERS. THIS MAY CAUSE BURNS.
CLEANING AND CARE
Cleaning: DO NOT leave used coffee capsules in the capsule holder. Wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry thoroughly. DO NOT PLACE IN THE DISHWASHER. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly prior to use.
Storage: Be sure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store appliance in its box or in a clean, dry place. Never store it while it is hot or wet.
