How to Use Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven 31323
WARNING Fire Hazard.
- If contents ignite, do not open the oven door. Unplug the toaster oven and allow the contents to stop burning and cool before opening the door.
- Do not use oven cooking bags.
- Always allow at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) between food and heating element.
- Always unplug the toaster oven when not in use.
Before first use: Most heating appliances produce an odor and/or smoke when used the first time. Plug the Toaster Oven into an outlet. Turn Temperature Dial to 450°F (230ºC). Air Fryer Mode

- Plug into an outlet. Place the Oven Rack in the lowest position.
- Add food to the Air Frying Basket. Slide the Basket into the Top Rack Position, then place the Baking/Broiling in theethe low Basket on the Oven Rack. Always place the Baking/Broiling Pan under the Air Frying Basket to catch drippings.
- Turn the Temperature Dial to the desired temperature.
- Rotate the Function Dial to Air Fry.
- Rotate the Timer clockwise past 10, then to the desired baking time. Or, rotate to Stay On while pressing and holding buttons on the side of the Dial.
- If time is selected, the Timer will sound when the selected time is complete.
- Unplug.
Bake Mode
Use Bake mode for cakes, casseroles, cookies,, and roasting meats, poultry,, or vegetables. Place Oven Rack in the top or bottom position. Preheating the Toaster Oven for 5 minutes is necessary for Bake mode.
- Plug into an outlet. Turn the Temperature Dial to the desired temperature, then turn the Function Dial to Bake.
- Rotate the Timer clockwise past 10, then back to “dark toast” to preheat the Toaster Oven for 5 minutes before beginning to bake.
- After the Toaster Oven is preheated, set the Timer to the desired time by rotating clockwise past 10, then to the desired baking time. Or, rotate to Stay On while pressing and holding buttons on the side of the Dial.
- Rotate the Timer to OFF () to end the cycle at any time.
- Unplug.

The Toaster Oven can be set to stay on by turning the Timer to Stay On while pressing and holding buttons on the side of the Dial.
Broil Mode

Always place the Broil Rack onto the Baking/Broiling Pan to catch drippings. Add food onto the Broil Rack. Food must be a minimum of 1 inch (2.5 cm) from the heating elements.
- Plug into an outlet. Turn the Temperature Dial to Broil/Toast and the Function Dial to Broil/Toast.
- Rotate the Timer clockwise past 10, then to the desired broiling time. Or, rotate the Timer to Stay On while pressing and holding the buttons on the side of the Dial. Turn foods when browned or halfway through cooking time. Oven broils at high temperature and may not be adjusted.
- Rotate the Timer to OFF () to end the cycle at any time.

Toast Mode
Use for browning and toasting bread, bagels, and English muffins. Place food cut/split side facing up. This will toast cut/split side more than outside of food. The rack should be in the top or bottom position.
- Plug into an outlet. Turn the Temperature Dial to Broil/Toast and then turn the Function Dial to Toast.
- Select a shade of browning by turning the Timer clockwise past 10, then back to the desired toast color. A bell will sound when the toast cycle is complete.
