- The Speaker system is in “ ” (stand by) mode when power on, with the orange LED will light up. Please press the “/SOURCE ” to select appropriate source. Keeping the “ /SOURCE ” key pressed for long will put it back in “” (stand by) mode.
- You can toggle through the input modes by pressing the “ /SOURCE ”key. “ AU ” Denotes AUX Mode. “ USB ” Denotes USB mode. “ 87.5 ” Denotes FM Mode. “BT” Denotes Bluetooth Mode.
- Vol +/- Manual control for volume. Note: keep at max position to have full control on remote.
Playing the speakers and subwoofer
System positioning: The subwoofer is recommended to be put For best possible surround sound, all the speakers (except subwoofer) should be placed at the same distance from the listening position. Place the front left and right speakers at equal distances from the TV and at an angle of approximately 45 degrees (horizontal) from the listening position.
Helpful Hint: To avoid magnetic interference, do not position the speakers, too close to your TV.
Bluetooth Operating Instruction
- Press SOURCE key from subwoofer’s front panel or remote control to Bluetooth mode;
- When selected the Bluetooth mode, in display, “bt” will start blinking and hear an audio tone which indicate in Bluetooth pairing mode.
- For pairing with mobile phone or other Bluetooth devices, search the device named “Philips MMS2625B” and pair it. Once paired, “bt” stops blinking and an audio tone will come up.
- Press and hold “ ” for 3 seconds from remote control in order to force disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
Note: While using Bluetooth, if external call comes, then speaker system goes in mute mode in order to protect privacy of mobile phone user. Operation resumes once the call is disconnected.

- Power or standby modes.
- Mute: Turn volume on. Press again to activate sound.
- By pressing the number“0-9” on the remote control you can choose the corresponding song or corresponding FM channel.
- AUD: AUX input mode selection.
- FM: FM tuner mode selection.
- USB: USB reader mode selection.
- BT: Press “BT” to enter Bluetooth mode.
- VOL+: Press VOL+ to increase Volume.
- Pressing “” takes you to previous song/station.
- SCN: Short press To play or to pause songs. Long press “ /SCN” in FM mode, it will automatically search and save channels. For manual storage, user can press frequency (eg. 106.4) and press “ /SCN ”, station number will flash, press “” or “” to choose the serial, press “/SCN” again to store the station.
- Pressing “” takes you to next song/station.
- VOL-: Press VOL- to decrease Volume.
- EQ: nor for Normal, CLA for Classic, COU for Country, POP for Pop, Jaz for Jazz, roc for ROCK mode. (works only in USB/BT mode)
TUNE-: To search channel step by step ( each step- 0.1 MHz), press “TUNE-” and hold to search previous channel, it will stop and play once previous channel been searched. - TUNE+: To search channel step by step ( each step+ 0.1 MHz), press “TUNE+” and hold to search next channel, it will stop and play once next channel been searched.
