REPLACING THE FOILS AND CUTTERS

REPLACING THE CUTTERS

  1. Grasp the cutter between your thumb and forefinger and pull upwards.
  2. Snap the new cutter into the oscillator tip . Note: DO NOT press on the cutter ends as this may cause damage.
  3. Foil head replacements can be found on the Remington website. 

BATTERY REMOVAL

We strongly recommend that a professionaremovees the rechargeable battery. Parts of the shaver case, and tools have sharp edges and may cause injury if not handled correctly.

  • The rechargeable battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.

  8. Remove the two screws within the shaver body that hold the inner housing to the outer housing. One screw is to the bottom, and the other screw is to one side.
  9. Loosen the large screw holding the power switch to the housing; there is no need to remove this screw entirely.
  10. Pry apart the housing from the power switch to separate the two components held together by the metal pin.
  11. Pull the inner housing out of the outer housing.
  12. Remove the two screws holding together the front and back panels of the inner housing.
  13. Pry apart the front and back panel of the inner housing by spreading the two plastic snaps to either side.
  14. Remove the two screws holding the circuit board to the housing.
  15. Cut the wires connecting the circuit board to the charge port, motor, and power switch.
  16. Pull out the circuit board and battery assembly,y and cut the metal tabs connecting the battery to the board.
  17. Remove the battery

The battery is to be disposed of safely.
