STANDARD INSTALLATION 

Installing Electrical Connections 
Ensure the earth connection in your electrical supply is proper before connecting the power cord. The socket should be standard and independent: a 3pin type of 230V AC, SOHz. A connection with a separate line fuse or circuit breaker of the value of 16A 

Caution: 

• Do not use an extension junction box since it may not be properly earthed.
• The appliance must be earthed. The Whirlpool of India Ltd. declines any responsibility for damage caused by failure to observe this rule. You are therefore advised to check that your household supply has efficient earthing. 

• Do not use the manual Stabilizer..

  

DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD 

Water Pressure: 
The water storage tank should correspond to a level of 2 - 80 m above the level othe f the tap and water pressure from 0.2 - 8 kgf / cm 2
In case of inadequate water pressure, the customer has to correct the water supply o improve fiow rate or pour water manually. 
Suggestion to Improve waWater Flowate: 

• Tank height from the water inlet tap should be > 10 ft (Refer Picture)
• Ensure no blockage in the water line

Installing the Machine: 

• Do not place the machine on a slanting, uneven, or unstable surface.
• Place the machine on a sol,,  id leveled surface to avoid excessive vibration and noise during operation.

• If the power cois damagedged, it must be replaced by the Whirlpool authorized service person to avoidhazard
• Discard the cushion balance ring with the cover.
• Unscrew the 2 screws and remove the Transit Bracket (Refer Picture)
• Ensure the assembly of the rat mesh at the time of installation.

The drain hose connection will be demonstrated by the service engineer when he comes to install your washing machine. However, the steps for the connections are given below for your reference. 

Steps to follow 

1. Insert the drain hosintoto the drain outlet area of the machine. 
2. Press the hose clamp.
   While pressing, push the clamp and the hose simultaneously towards the body.
   Release the hose clamp after insertion.

Limitation sf Warranty 

1. This Warranty does not apply if:
   • Damage is caused by accident, misuse, improper installation by unauthorized person (not authorized by WOil) or neglect in following instructions of the user manual issued by WO IL. Damage is caused due to defects in electrical installations of fittings outside the washing machine or by any defective electrical supply. 
   • Damage is caused by rodents/insects, accident, misuse, fire, flood or other acts of God. 
   • Any part of the washing machine has been tampered with, altered, repaired or serviced by any person not authorised by WOI L. 
   • the serial number on the washing machine and motor is defected, missing or altered, 
   • sea water or any substandard detergent has been used in the washing machine. 
   • The washing machine is taken out of India. 
   • Leakage is due to Coin Entry/ Foreign Particles entry, the Product is not used as per the guidelines and instructions given in use and care guide. 
2. In the event of repairs/replacement of any parts, this warranty will there after continue to remain in force only for the remaining period of warranty.
3. While WOil will make every effort to carry out repairs/replacement of parts under this warranty as soon as possible, it is expressly made clear that WOil shall not be liable to do so within any specified period of time.
4. This warranty is not applicable if the washing machine is used for commercial purposes or at places like institutions, hospitals, community hall, hostels and other similar applications.
5. The entire washing machine will not be replaced under any circumstances.
6. Only the part cost is covered under warranty. Labour charges and any other expense need to be borne by the customer.
7. The extended/additional warranty is only limited to motor and prime mover*. Any other part failure shall not be covered in the extended/additional warranty.
8. This warranty will continue to be in force for the term herein specified irrespective of what repairs/replacements may be provided under it and such repairs/ replacement shall not attract any fresh warranty.
9. In case of replacement of any part, the defective part should be returned to WOil.
10. WOIL's employees and/or dealer have no authority to vary the terms of this warranty. This warranty does not create any contractual relationship between us and the purchaser of the washing machine, who must look to the performance of these obligations by the dealer from whom the washing machine is bought. We shall, however, fulfill the terms of the warranty.
11. The 2 year warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period of two years from date of purchase and extended warranty on Prime mover and motor only will also automatically terminate on the expiry of 8 years which commences immediately after the expiry of 2 years from the date of purchase as provided in the original invoice, even if the washing machine may not be in use for any time during the warranty period for any reason whatsoever including any technical breakdowns and the time taken for such repairs /replacements of parts and transit, whether under this warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.
12. It is entirely left to WOIL1s discretion to effect repairs/replacement of parts at the site of installation or at any service station of its branches or of its authorised representatives/dealers/ Service Partners.
13. Any repair/replacement/refund shall be chargeable as per actual cost of such repair,  replacement, etc., where any damage to the product occurs due to any of the following reasons.
    • House wiring issues,
    • Coin/Foreign particles entry e. Inlet water pipe re-fixing
    • Rat bite issues on wiring harness,
    • Choke due to filer / Muck accumulation
14. The Warranty does not cover any accessories external to the product, like trolleys, covers, etc. even those marketed by Whirlpool.
15. Only courts in National Capital Region of Delhi or the District within the Municipal limits shall have jurisdiction for settling claims or disputes arising out of present warranty.
16. WOil reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions of the present warranty at any time in its sole discretion without any prior notice.
