INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Filling the tank before use

Do not put the tank in its seat if it is wet. Clean the tank with a dry cloth.

1. Remove the components from the box.
2. Place the appliance on a horizontal and stable surface.
3. Totally unwind the power cord.
4. Press the tank release buttons. Remove the tank from its seat (Fig 2).
5. Open the tank cap.
6. Fill the tank with fresh natural water up to the MAX level (Fig 4). In the case of particularly calcareous waters (with hardness greater than 20° f) use a mixture composed of 50% of tap water and 50% odemineralizeded water.
7. Close the tank cap.
8. Fit the tank into its seat. The correct insertion is done with a "click" (Fig 6).
9. NEVER fill the tank beyond the MAX level. The product functions with normal tap water.
10. Never use pure demineralized water.

Switching on the appliance

1. The first time the appliance is switched on, it is possible to see a light emission of smoke:

7. After 8 minutes, if you did not press the steam button (E), the appliance goes into standby. The light on the on/off button starts flashing. Press the steam button to reactivate the device again.
8. Press the steam button (E) repeatedly until steam comes out. Steam does not come out im- mediately after pressing the steam button, because the water has to pass from the tank to the steam generator.
9. Pass the appliance on the cloth.

    1. Place the garment on a hanger. Pass the appliance on the garment. Press the steam button (E) several times.

    2. To emit a continuous and constant jet of steam, press the steam button. Move the continuous steam lock slider downwards (Fig 10).

• Always check the level of water in the tank while you are ironing.

2. Fit the lint accessory. The correct insertion is done with a "click" (Fig 7). Place the garment on a hanger. Pull the garment with your free hand. Place the appliance on the garment folds. Press the steam button (E) and then release it. Move the appliance from right to left. Press the steam button (E) several times.

Small horizontal final touches

Garments ironing is possible only for those fabrics that have the throe-point mark (***) label.

1. Remove the brush (Fig. 8)
2. Place the fabric on an ironing board. The appliance must be used holding it horizontally, and with the nozzles downwards (Fig. 14).
