Specifications

Power On 

(First Time User)

1. To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply take them out from the charging case

   

   • To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in blue

     

2. Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating blue and red LED flashes.

3. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan

4. Search for ‘Airdopes 281’ and pair accordingly. Enter ‘0000’as the passkey if asked.

Note

•  Pairing mode lasts for 180 seconds. if the pairing time is missed then you will need to reconnect the earbuds and follow the above mentioned procedure

• Airdopes 281 remembers previously connected devices; once switched on, the earbuds automatically reconnect to the previously connected devices.

LED Indicators

1. 2 Seconds
   Long Press CTC on either earbud for 2 Seconds to activate Voice Assistant. / Reject incoming Calls.

2. 3 Seconds
   Manual Power ON: Blue/Red Lights will Blink.

3. 5 Seconds
   Scan Mode: Manual Power OFF Red Lights will Blink.

4. 5 Seconds
   Factory Reset: Put the earbuds inside (While Earbuds case and Long Press CTC for 5 second Inside Case) Blue/Red Lights will Blink on both Earbuds.

   

NOTE: Factory Reset will remove all device profiles saved on the Airdopes 281

Description

Boat 281 Airdopes Twin Earbuds are designed to provide a comfortable and secure fit, with multiple sizes of ear tips to choose from. The earbuds are lightweight and compact, making them ideal for use during sports and other activities. The touch controls allow you to easily control your music and answer calls, while the integrated microphone ensures clear and crisp audio during calls.

Single Earbud Usage

1. Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options; Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud

2. The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by alternating blue and red

   LED flashes

3. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for’Airdopes 281’to connect.

   

Notes

• To switch to Stereo mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage

• You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode.

Charging The Earbuds

1. Please insert the earbuds back inside the charging case in correct orientation.

2. A red LED will indicate that the earbuds are being charged. Once fully charged the LED turns off. Step 3: Once the earbuds are fully charged, the charging case automatically switches off to save power.

   

Charging The Case

1. To charge the case, plug one end of the Type-C cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter.

2. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case. The indicator in the case blinks red in colour during charge. When the case has been charged fully the red light gets steady.
    

   

Basic Functions

• Voice Assistant: Long touch the CTC on either earbud for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant

• Answer/Hang Up Call: Single tap the CTC on either earbud to answer an incoming call and once again to hang up an ongoing call

• Reject Call: Long touch the CTC on either earbud for 2 seconds to reject incoming calls

• Play/Pause Music: Single tap the left/right earbuds CTC once to play or pause a song

• Next Track: When playing music, double tap the right earbuds CTC to skip to the next song

• Previous Track: When playing music, double tap the left earbuds CTC to return to the previous song

Note: Volume cannot be controlled via earbuds and can only be adjusted via phone/media device

Voice Assistant

1. Long Press the CTC on either earbud for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant

2. The respective voice assistant screen pops up and you may place your commands at ease

   

Tips: You may try out the following commands,

1. “What id the weather?”

2. “Play a song”

3. “Where are Pyramids located?

Setup Guide

Setting up the Boat 281 Airdopes Twin Earbuds is easy. Simply remove the earbuds from the charging case and turn them on. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, and you can connect them to your device by selecting "Boat Airdopes Twin 281" in the Bluetooth settings. Once connected, you can start using the earbuds to listen to your favorite music or take calls.

Smart Power Off

1. After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears

2. Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation

3. The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode)

   

Manual Power Off

1. Long touch the CTC on either earbud for 5 seconds until the red indicator light blinks before earbuds getting turned off, in order to manually switch off the earbuds. Please note that this powers off both the earbuds

2. Please keep the earbuds back into the charging case to charge the earbuds

   

Boat 281 Airdopes Twin Earbuds Factory Reset

Perform the Factory Reset in case you face any difficulty while operating your Airdopes 281

1. Put the earbuds back inside the charging case in correct orientation; the red LED gets steady indicating they are being charged

2. Try to push the earbuds lightly inside the charging case and hold them in correct orientation to keep them steady and in place; then keeping them in place, triple tap the CTC on both the earbuds. LED flashes red twice and then red LED is steady.

3. Take out both the earbuds from the case, LEDs start flashing in blue until both the earbuds’ LED flash blue & red.Then double tap the CTC on both earbuds, blue LED flashes twice then turns into steady blue. This indicates that the left and right earbuds are ready to pair with each other

4. Once the right earbud’s LED flashes in blue & red, it indicates that both the earbuds have successfully paired with each other 5.

   

Common Problem with Solution

•  If only one earbud is functioning: Simply insert the earbuds back into the case and take them out or perform the Factory Reset

  

•  If earbuds are not in scan mode: Simply insert the earbuds back into the case and take them out or perform the Factory Reset

  

Warning

• Please follow the instructions to operate

• Please charge the ear-buds according to the charging norms as mentioed on the packing & manual.

• Please don’t use the ear-buds in extreme temperature

• Please don’t water   use the product near water

• Please keep the product away form heat source as the heat may damage it

• Don’t jam the ports such as charger port, LED port, etc. maximum volume in order to protect hearing and extend the ear-buds serviceslife

Advisable

The earbuds start at a 100% volume and it may need to be reduced when the earbuds are switch on at first .This can be done by using the volume control on the phone/media device.

Charging norms & Precautionary Guidelines

1. Charging /Brick/Adapter: 5V/2A

2. Cable/Wire: Standard Cable (35 Stands @0.10 mm diameter/strand)

Any other accessory can be paired up with the product as long as the specifications are as per above norms.
