Parts

Set Up Playard

1. Set the mattress aside in order to set up the playard. Unfasten straps on the mattress pad as shown.

   

2. Begin to open the playard. DO NOT push the center of the playard down yet. The center of the playard MUST stay up in order to latch the side rails into the locked position.
   Pull up the short side rails first, as shown, until they lock with a click. (IF rails do not lock, lift the center of the floor higher.)

   

3. Pull up the long side rails as shown until they click into the locked position. CHECK TO MAKE SURE that all 4 top rails are locked into position before continuing.

   

4. After all four side rails are locked, push the CENTER of the playard DOWN.

   

5. MAKE SURE the center of the playard is completely FLAT.

   

6. Place the mattress pad with the SOFT side UP and the straps down into the bottom of the playard.

   

7. Fasten the 4 straps from the back of the mattress pad through the slots in the playard bottom as shown. PULL UP on the mattress to be sure it is firmly attached in all four corners.

Folding Playard

1. To fold the playard, unfasten the 4 straps from the underside of the playard and remove the mattress pad as shown.

2. DO NOT unlock the top rails yet. Pull the plastic tab on the center floor hub UP as shown.

   

3. Squeeze the button on the underside of one side rail of the playard as shown and lift the side rail up to unlock. Repeat on the other 3 side rails.
4. Push each of the 4 side rails down once they have been unlocked. If top rails do not unlatch DO NOT FORCE. Pull the center of the floor up higher and try to unlock the side rails again.

5. Once all 4 side rails are unlocked and the center of the floor is raised up, push all 4 sides together as shown.

   

6. Wrap the mattress pad around the folded playard as shown.

7. Fasten the straps on the outside of the unit for storage.

   

8. Place the unit inside the carry bag and fasten the zipper.

   

Attaching Bassinet

WARNING: FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS AND THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

To prevent injury or death, NEVER set up the bassinet with the child in the playard. ALWAYS remove the child from the playard before installing the bassinet.

TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH:

• Check to ensure the bassinet is fully secure by firmly pressing down on all four corners of the mattress pad.
• DO NOT use bassinet with children over 15 lbs (6.8 kg). Discontinue use when the child begins to push up on hands and knees or can roll over.
• FALL HAZARD: To prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached the manufacturer’s recommended maximum weight, whichever comes first.
• FALL HAZARD: To prevent death or serious injury, NEVER leave the child unattended. ALWAYS keep the child within arm’s reach.
• NEVER leave the changing table in place when the child is in the playard or bassinet. To avoid serious injury or death, ALWAYS remove the changer from the playard or bassinet after each use.
• DO NOT move or carry the bassinet with the child in it. The child could be injured.
• If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided by Evenflo or one specifically designed to fit the dimension of the bassinet mattress.
• The bassinet must be completely assembled, including 4 tubes, 8 clips, and the mattress pad before using.
• DO NOT store the bassinet in the playard while in use.
• To help prevent heat build-up inside the playard and to avoid overheating your child, DO NOT use an outdoor canopy with the bassinet.
• DO NOT use the bassinet with any other manufacturer's playards.

1. Before installing the bassinet, remove the mattress pad from the bottom of the playard, place the bassinet inside the playard, and attach 8 clips to the side rails. CHECK to make sure all 8 clips are securely attached to the side rails.

   

2. Insert the metal tubes together in the bottom of the bassinet as shown. MAKE SURE tubes are connected before installing the mattress pad.

   

3. Fasten the straps on the bottom of the mattress pad then place the mattress inside the bassinet and fasten the mattress to the bottom of the bassinet by pressing the pad down on the hook and loop patches.

   

Care and Cleaning

• FOR WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: REFER TO YOUR CARE TAG on your playard. NEVER USE BLEACH.
• TO CLEAN PLAYARD: Use household soap and warm water. NEVER USE BLEACH.
