INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING KENT POWER GRINDER & BLENDER

1. Check the unit for damages. Do not use in case of any damage.
2. Before switching on the appliance, make sure that your home·s main voltage corresponds to the unit"s operating voltage.
3. Clean the KENT Power Grinder & Blender before using it for the first time. (see 'Cleaning & Maintenance· section).
4. Make sure all parts are completely dry before you start using it.
5. Connect the appliance to the main power supply and switch it on.
6. Place the jar properly on the motor unit.
7. Add ingredients.
8. Flip the power switch to 'ON' position.
9. Vary speed as required by rotating the Speed Control Knob.
10. You may use the Push Rod to push the ingredients if needed.
11. After use, turn off the appliance and unplug it.

Description

OPERATION PANEL EXPLAINED

KEY	FUNCTION
Power Switch (ON/OFF)	This key is used to start/stop the appliance.
	To start or stop the appliance, flip the power switch.
Pulse Switch	This key allows the appliance to run in short bursts at max. speed for quick mixing.
	Flip the key to run the appliance in short bursts.
Speed Control Knob	This function allows the user to change the speed control knob as per needs.
	To increase or decrease the speed, turn the switch in a clock-wise or counter clock-wise direction.

RECIPES AND TIPS

Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients:

1. Fruit of your choice: 2 cups chopped
2. Water or Milk: 1 cup
3. Ice cubes: 1 cup

Method:

1. Put the chopped fruits, water or milk and ice cubes in the jar.
2. Secure the lid firmly and press the power switch.
3. Blend for a few minutes. Pour into glasses and serve chilled.

Cold Coffee

Ingredients:

1. Milk: 1 cup
2. Sugar: 1 ½ tablespoons or to taste
3. Coffee Powder: 1 ½ - 2 tablespoons or to taste
4. Ice Cubes: 4-5 or as needed
5. Cocoa Powder or Chocolate Sprinkles: Optional

Method:

1. Put the milk, coffee, sugar and ice into the blender.
2. Blend it for a few minutes until it gets frothy and smooth.
3. Pour into a big serving glass.
4. Garnish with the cocoa powder or chocolate sprinkles [optional].

Dosa Batter

Ingredients:

1. Whole Skinned Urad Dal: 1 Cup
2. Rice: 2 cups
3. Salt: As required
4. Water: As required

Method:

1. Mix dal and rice and let it soak in water overnight.
2. Add soaked dal, rice and water in jar and grind it to a right consistency.
3. Pour the batter in a large bowl. Mix salt and leave it for 5-6 hours.
4. Once the batter is ready, make delicious dosas.

Besan Batter

Ingredients

1. Overnight soaked chickpeas: 2 Cups
2. Water: As required

Method

1. Put the soaked chickpeas and required water into the blender and grind for 2 minutes or as required.
2. Fresh besan batter will be ready for recipes like chilla, pakoras or dhokla.

Setup Guide

To operate the Kent Power Grinder & Blender 16003, 

1. Start by carefully unpacking the appliance and its accessories. Ensure all jars and blades are securely locked into place before use. 
2. For grinding, use the stainless steel jar and appropriate blade. For blending, use the polycarbonate jar. 
3. Always add ingredients according to the recommended capacity to avoid overloading. 
4. Plug in the appliance and select the desired speed using the intuitive control panel. 
5. After use, clean the jars and blades thoroughly to maintain hygiene and prolong the lifespan of the appliance.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE 

1. Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
2. Remove the lid and clean the jar with a solution of lukewarm water and soap. Use a cleaning brush; never use scouring pads to clean it.
3. Wipe the main unit with a moist cloth and a non-abrasive liquid cleaner.
4. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
5. Never put any part of the appliance in a dishwasher.
6. After cleaning it thoroughly, dry it using a soft cloth.
7. Ensure that the appliance is completely dry before storing it.

Note: Never immerse the motor unit of the blender in water, nor rinse it under the tap. Wipe it with a dry cloth.

PRECAUTIONS 

1. Do not disassemble or repair the appliance on your own. It may cause appliance failure or breakdown.
2. The input voltage must not exceed the rating; it might damage the appliance.
3. Unplug before cleaning/moving the appliance.
4. Do not use the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug.
5. If the power cord is damaged, replace it with a genuine KENT spare.
6. Do not install the appliance near any heat source, e.g., heater.
7. If the appliance is not in use for a longer time, unplug it.
8. Do not sit on, stand on or shake the appliance.
