Important instructions
We recommend that you read the following instructions carefully, before using the appliance.

Always unplug the appliance before reaching in to the jar with your fingers or an object e.g. spatula.
- Care should be taken while handling the cutter sieve. Never run your fingers on the cutting edges of the cutter sieve. Applying pressure on the sieve while fitting it on the coupler could result into deformation of the sieve and noisy operation.
- Do not use the juicer without the juicer cover.
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Always ensure that speed selector knob is at 'OFF position before fixing accessories.
- Do not operate the mixer without the dome or lid in place or with an empty jar.
- Handle the blades carefully. Wash them under running water and do not rub by hand.

Using the product
How to fit the blades
Hold the coupler on the underside of the jar and with the spanner; tighten by rotating in anti clockwise direction till the blade is securely locked. Repeat procedure for the other jars.
How to assemble the blender jar with fruit filter (only with HL1632) Fit the fruit filter in the blender jar. Fill ingredients in the fruit filter. Window of jar should coincide with the spout. Jar can also be used for blending purposes without the fruit filter.
How to fit jar to basic unit After fitting the blades or fruit filter, carefully insert the jar on top of the basic unit. Ensure that lock of the jar fits the slot of the basic unit. Rotate the jar clockwise until it locks.
How to assemble a juicer
- Ensure that the lock I (detachable) is attached on the basic unit.
Place the juicer housing cum pulp chamber on the basic unit.
Press the cutter sieve on the motor coupler. Ensure that the cutter sieve is place properly. After fitting the sieve in the juicer pls. check its correct fitment by rotating it by hand to see ifit is rotating freely
Place the juicer cover on the juicer housing by inserting the hinge marked 'INSERT' first. Ensure motor and jar couplers are property coupled before attempting to run the appliance.
- Fix the lock 1 which holds the basic unit, juicer housing and juicer cover followed by fixing of the lock 2 which holds the juicer housing and basic unit.

Operation
- Before the first use
Thoroughly clean parts that come in contact with food. Preparation for use
Cool the hot ingredients before putting in jar:Cut large ingredients into small pieces of approx 2cm before processing.
Check speed selector is 'OFF
Connect mains plug to wall socket after fixing jar: Switch on mainsupply.
Turn speed selector to required position and speed. After operation, turn selector knob 'OFF' and check. Repeat till desired results are obtained. For blending/liquidizing/pureeing use "whip' on speed knob. This will activate the whipping till you release the buttonBlender Jar
After assembling the blender jar on the basic unit, switch on the motor at speed JUICING and higher speed for blending/mixing,
Stop after attending the desired level of blending.
Use only soft fruits like grapes, watermelon etc. in the fruit filter (only HL 1632).Pour juice from blender jar with fruit filter (only HL1632) without removing the cap to avoid the skin/ seed from mixing in the juice

After assembling the jars on the basic unit, start with speed JUICING and gradually move to higher speeds as required. Stop the grinder/chutney when you are satisfied with the fineness of the powder or paste. - Juicer
Always use juicer at speed JUICING. Fruits to be inserted should be cut into pieces which can pass through the food chute
Use the pusher for pushing the fruits through the food chute for juicing.
For continued juicing extraction, repeat the above mentioned procedure.
The juicer is not suitable for processing very hard and/or fiberous/ starchy /too soft fruits or vegetables such as sugarcane, aamla, ber, papaya, guava, banana, chikoo, mango and the likes.
If you want to juice fruits with seeds, remove the seeds before juicing where ever possible
Cleaning and maintenance
- Remove main plug from the wall socket. Do not immerse basic unit in water:
- Wipe basic unit with a damp cloth and non abrasive liquid cleaner:
- Disassemble other parts after use. Wash them in soapy water,rinse with clean water and thoroughly. Do not wash in a dishwasher. Cleaning is easiest done immediately after use.
- Take soapy water in jars, fix jar on motor, run for 10 secs on speed JUICING and then wash the jar.
- Use warm water and a soft brush to clean the fruit filter and cutter sieve.
Do not use a wire wool, scouring pad or strong abrasives for blender jar: - After every washing procedure. Store jars in inverted position after cleaning the jars. The jars to be wiped dry.
- Remove leftover pulp stuck on the juicer cover, juicer housing & sieve by placing them under running water.
- Store juicer mixer grinder standing on its heel in a safe and dry place.
Overload protection
Mixer is fitted with an automatic power shut off mechanism to avoid motor burning due to overloading. If mixer stops due to overloading, the red knob at the bottom will come out. Switch off the mixer. Remove excess load from jar. Wait for 2-3 minutes. Press red knob and start mixer again.

For wet/drylchutney grinding(only HL 1632) use speed JUICING and speed MED for 10 - 15 seconds, thereafter use speed HI till you finish grinding. Remove the plug from the socket after use.

Following fruits such as Mangoes, Papaya, Chikoo and similar should not be juiced in the centrifugal juicer. These fruits are recommended to be blended in the blender far with the addition of waterimil
