  1. Take out the fan body and the spare parts from the box. Slide the front base on to the rear base and join them together. (see Fig. 1)
  2. Pass the power cord through the hole in the center of the base, then insert the fan body into the base. (see Fig. 3)
  3. Fix the fan body on the base with the plastic nut. (see Fig. 2)

  1. power_on.png ON/OFF KEY
    The “ON” key is for switching on the fan . The fan will be started at the lowest speed. Press the “OFF” key if the fan needs to switch off.

    “Once the fan has started, press the key repeatedly to go through a sequence order of 1 (low), 2 (medium), 3 (high).
  3. wind_mode.pngWIND MODE KEY
    Press this key to select wind mode. The sequence of choices is NORMAL-NATURAL-SLEEP when the key is touched repeatedly or held down. The lights will confirm the wind mode setting.
    NOTE: If the LED indicator light above the wind mode icon is lit, the fan is in the “normal wind” mode. If the LED indicator light between the wind mode icon and the half moon/sleep icon is on, the fan is in “natural wind” mode. If no LED indicator is lit, the fan is in the “sleep wind” mode.   4. oscillation.pngOSCILLATION KEY
    After the fan has started, press this key to select oscillation mode. The lights will confirm the oscillation mode setting.
  5. timer.pngTIMER KEY
    Press this timer key repeatedly to set the time in one-hour increments from one to eight hours. Increase in increments up to “1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8” hours.

  1. Press down on the battery compartment cover and slide it out.
  2. Insert the batteries, making sure that the positive terminals are facing the proper way.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROL CORRECTLY

Point the remote control at the receptor on body of the fan and press the desired button. The remote control will work at distances of up to roughly five meters (16 feet) and an angle of 30 degrees left and right of the control panel.

The buttons on the control panel such as ON/OFF, SPEED, MODE, TIMER, and OSCILLATION have the same functions as those of the corresponding keys on the remote control. 
NOTE: If the LED indicator light above the wind mode icon is lit, the fan is in the “normal wind” mode. If the LED indicator light between the wind mode icon and the half moon/sleep icon is on, the fan is in “natural wind” mode. If no LED indicator is lit, the fan is in the “sleep wind” mode.

REPLACING THE FUSE

  • Disconnect fan from power outlet by grabbing the plug at the end of the cord. Do not unplug by pulling the cord itself
  • Open fuse cover located in the side of the power cord plug by sliding it toward the plug blades (see Fig. 5)

  • Remove fuse carefully by taking a small tool and slowly prying out one end. Once you have one end out, slowly pry out the other end.
  • To avoid the risk of fire, replace only with similar 2.5 Amp, 125V fuse.
  • Close fuse cover by sliding cover toward the top of the plug.

CAUTION: Do not attempt to replace the plug itself. Discard the product entirely if the plug itself is damaged.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Be sure to unplug from the electrical supply source before cleaning
  • Plastic parts of the fan should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge. Rinse with clean water to remove any soapy film residue.
  • Be sure not to get water or any other liquid inside the motor.
