Faqs

How does the Newair Evaporative Cooler AF-1000 work?

Newair Evaporative Cooler works by drawing in hot air, which then passes through a wet honeycomb cooling pad. As the air passes through the pad, it cools down due to evaporation, and the cooled air is then circulated back into the room. This process is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.

What is the ideal climate for using the Newair Evaporative Cooler?

AF-1000 is most effective in dry climates where the humidity level is low. It works best in areas with low relative humidity because the cooling process relies on evaporation to cool the air.

How much water does the Newair Cooler use?

The Newair Evaporative Cooler has a large water tank capacity of 10 gallons. The water usage depends on the operating conditions, but it generally requires less frequent refills compared to smaller models. However, in extremely hot weather, more frequent refills may be necessary.

Is the Newair Cooler noisy?

AF-1000 can be noisy, especially at higher speed settings. However, the noise level is generally within acceptable limits for most users. If noise is a concern, operating the cooler at lower speed settings can help minimize the noise.

How do I maintain the Newair?

To maintain the Evaporative Cooler AF-1000, regular cleaning of the cooling pads and water tank is necessary. It is also important to drain and clean the water tank periodically to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth. Refer to the user manual for detailed maintenance instructions.

Can I use the AF-1000 indoors?

Evaporative Cooler AF-1000 can be used indoors as well as outdoors. However, ensure that there is proper ventilation to allow the cooler to work efficiently. It should be placed at least 3 feet away from any walls and obstructions to maximize airflow.

What are the benefits of using an air ionizer with the Cooler AF-1000?

The air ionizer feature in the Newair Evaporative helps to improve air quality by removing dust particles, allergens, and other pollutants from the air. This enhances the overall comfort and health benefits of using the cooler.

How long does it take to cool a room with the Cooler?

The time it takes to cool a room with the AF-1000 depends on several factors including room size, initial temperature, and humidity levels. Generally, it can start cooling the air within a few minutes, but achieving optimal cooling may take up to 30 minutes.

Does the Newair Evaporative Cooler come with a remote control?

AF-1000 comes with a remote control that allows you to adjust settings, turn the cooler on and off, and operate other features from a distance.

What is the estimated lifespan of the Cooler AF-1000?

The estimated lifespan of the Newair Evaporative Cooler can vary based on usage and maintenance. However, with proper care and regular maintenance, it can last for several years. Typically, evaporative coolers have a lifespan of around 5 to 7 years before major components may need replacement.
