LED

  • Yellow - charging and after fully charged it will be off.
  • Blue and Green - blue for BT and green for Aux in connection.

  • AUX in: For Aux in cable in connection. 
  • On/off: power on or off switch.
  • DC in USB socket : power in socket for charging from 5V DC,1A source only.

In case of a laptop BT connection, this will work with windows media player.

For Bluetooth connection

  1. When in Bluetooth mode, the speaker will give out 'Beep' sound, and the blue LED will flash quickly.
  2. Turn on the bluetooth of the devices like mobile, computer or others, search the bluetooth name 'BT4200'.
  3. Press 'Pair' in the device to connect with the speaker, it will give out a 'Beep' sound after pairing successfully. Blue light will stop flash. (Normally no need to provide password. If need, just put '0000' as the password.)
  4. After pairing sucessfully, the device will connect with speaker automatically next time.

Charging of Philips BT4200 Bluetooth Speaker

  • Connect one side of the USB charging cable with the speaker, the other side connected with the computor or a standard charger with 5V 800mA for charging. The LED light will be yellow when charging, after it's full, the yellow light will disappear.
  • The charging time is 3~4 hours. The working time will depend on the volume user sets up. When the speaker is low power, it will give out a 'Beep' sound, then it should be charged.
  • If no charging, the speaker will be shutdown for no power. If you are not using the speaker for long time, ensure that it is being charged fully once every month in order to protect the battery.
