Getting to Know Your TV
FRONT PANEL
Remote Sensor and Power Indicator
When using the remote, aim it directly at this sensor.
The power indicator flashes on when the TV turns on, then goes out after several seconds.

Your TV can be used to display output from most devices.
- Verify that your device has a video port that matches an available port on the TV (HDMI or Coaxial).
- Connect the appropriate cable (not included) to the TV and the device.
- Turn the TV and your device on.
Set the TV’s input to match the connection you used (HDMI-1, HDMI-2, etc.).
AUDIO CABLE TYPES
Your TV can be output sound to an audio device, such as a receiver or soundbar.
- Verify that your device has an audio port that matches an available port on the TV (HDMI or Optical).
- Connect the appropriate cable (not included) to the TV and the device.
Turn the TV and your device on.
WALL MOUNTING THE TV
First you will need a wall mount. Consult the provided table below to find the appropriate mount for your TV.
Be sure the mount you choose is capable of supporting the weight of the TV.
To install your TV on a wall:
- Disconnect any cables connected to your TV.
- Place the TV face-down on a clean, flat, stable surface. Be sure the surface is clear of debris that can scratch or damage the TV.
- If attached, remove the stands by loosening and removing the screws.
- Attach your TV and wall mount to the wall by carefully following the instructions that came with your mount. Use only with a UL-listed wall mount bracket rated for the weight/load of your TV.
TIP: Installing a TV on a wall requires lifting. To prevent injury or damage to the TV, ask someone to help you.
WARNING: Do not use the screws that are included inside the wall mount holes to mount TV.

ATTACHING A VIZIO SOUNDBAR TO THE DUAL-HEIGHT STAND
The dual-purpose stand lets you raise your TV to accommodate a VIZIO Soundbar underneath, or to mount your soundbar directly to your wall-mounted TV for the ultimate streamlined look and finish.
To attach to a traditionally mounted TV:
Place the TV face-down on a clean, flat, stable surface. Be sure the surface is clear of debris that could scratch or damage the TV.
Use the included screws with the holes on the feet matching your desired height:- Low Profile Mode: Use the bottom two screw holes. Using this mode with a soundbar may cause the bottom of the TV screen to be blocked.
- Soundbar Mode: Use the top two screw holes. Using this mode will allow the soundbar to sit beneath the TV without obstructing the view of the screen.
- After setting the mount to your desired Profile Mode, place your TV upright in the desired location.
Rest your soundbar centered between the mount feet.

USING THE REMOTE
Replacing the Batteries
- Push and slide the cover down. Then lift the cover to access the battery compartment.
- Insert two batteries into the remote control. Make sure that the (+) and (-) symbols on the batteries match the (+) and (-) symbols inside the battery compartment.
- Replace the battery cover and slide to close.
