Unlock the packaging locks

1. Turn the packaging lock counter-clockwise several times.
2. Pull out and discard the packaging lock.

PRODUCT FEATURES

1. ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH
   To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/OFF/ VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the LOW VOLUME or HIGH VOLUME position. To turn the unit OFF, slide the ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the OFF position.

   

2. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
   To preserve battery life, the VTech Pull & Sing PuppyTM will automatically power down after approximately 50 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button or by pulling the puppy.

NOTE: If the unit powers down while playing, we suggest changing the batteries.

Setup Guide

To set up the VTech Pull & Sing Puggy, follow these steps

1. Insert the 2 AAA batteries into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the toy.
2. Turn on the toy by sliding the switch to the "on" position.
3. Adjust the volume level by pressing the volume control button.
4. Encourage your child to pull the toy along and interact with the light-up buttons.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw.
3. Install 2 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance).

4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure it. 

   

BATTERY NOTICE

• Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance. 
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries.
• Do not use damaged batteries.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. 
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. 
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. 
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

ACTIVITIES

1. Slide the on/off/volume control switch to turn the unit on. You will hear fun sounds and a song. The light will flash with the sounds.

2. Press the number buttons to learn numbers, colors, and objects, and to hear a song, a melody, a short tune or a question. The light will flash with the sounds. 

   

3. Pull the puppy along to hear fun sounds and music. The light will flash with the sounds.

4. If there is no input to the unit after approximately 8 seconds, you will hear a phrase or a question. After another 8 seconds without input, you will hear fun sounds and a phrase.  If there continues to be no input for another 8 seconds, the unit will play a short tune and power down. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button or by pulling the puppy.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps

1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace it with an entire set of new batteries.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

This Warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser, is non-transferable, and applies only to "VTech" products or parts. This product is covered by a 3-month Warranty from the original purchase date, under normal use and service, against defective workmanship and materials. This Warranty does not apply.
